It's January, this is really good for everyone. Anybody that is worried about easy to obtain God squads is bitter. This is also good business by SDS, anybody who buys the game late will have a good experience and want to buy next year's game.

Would you mind sharing what exact model your monitor is? I have been wanting a 4k 120 hz one
-
I want to buy the game, but I don't want to learn how to play it.

Actually, buying stubs launch night is a time that makes sense, because you can buy packs and actually sell cards for a profit. You can gamble and see if you get a big pull and it will pay off big time. However, if $100 means a lot to you, buying stubs is never worth it.

My 65 C1 >>> monitor
Yeah I am really leaning towards getting the 55 inch C2! No more sitting with my face crouched over a screen lol

Remember, there won't be sets and seasons. This means a card like Babe Ruth will absolutely crush every pitcher and have a huge PCI from March until August. Lefty on lefty will be manageable.

In the FAQ of The Show 25, it clearly states that there will be crossplay between the Switch and PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This means there will be no new engine created for the game. There will be no innovative changes to the hitting engine. The whole game will be bound to the hardware limitations of the Switch, which is a bit better than the PlayStation 3.
The 6 hours of being excited for current gen only were fun. But with this information about crossplay compatibility with Switch means there will be minimal changes to the game.
I am very sad, and will likely not be purchasing the game for the first time since I started playing in MLB 16.

Yeah, possibly about 70 packs between Twitch Drops, Now and Later, and Digital Deluxe edition. Never seen anything like it. I am curious how this will turn out.

@PriorFir4383355_XBL Hey man, I would love for this to be the case, and I thought for sure it was so. However, it is confirmed that Switch has crossplay with PS5 and Xbox Series X. This means the hitting engine physics is fundamentally limited by only whatever the Switch is capable of. Graphical improvements are also hampered by this fact.
You can find confirmation of Switch crossplay with current gen in the FAQ for MLB The Show 25 on this website. I am just as frustrated as anyone else, I have owned a PS5 since 2020 and this is the most BS console generation in my lifetime.

@GixxerRyder750_PSN It is unlikely they will create two different game engines, and have current gen consoles play on either one, based on if they are playing against Switch or not. Pretty much unheard of.
-
No, they will not make two different game engines, because cross play is mandatory. Secondly, yes, graphics can be improved on current gen, but only on certain things that your chatgpt spit out. Things like upgrades in animations cannot be made.
The hitting engine cannot be different than what will be on Switch. The Switch's ability to create ball physics is around 15-20% of what current gen can do.
Thoughts on ease to obtain end game cards?
New Monitor
I really wish there was a wimp mode for online play
