For the entire duration time an "Event" is running, the ratings should NOT be re-set upon re-entry. Here is why ......

Too many players that are WS caliber players in RS & 12-0 caliber players in BR that finally lost their 2nd game after winning 6 plus games are being matched up with players that are only lower tiered caliber in RS & that at best may get to 4 to 5 wins per run in BR. The rating being re-set on each re-entry allows this & as well the rating match up slider can NOT be held to the far left like in RS.

Having the ratings NOT be re-set per re-entry will give everyone a more balanced match up to others at or close to their own playing level. It should be just how it is for the duration of the current RS in progress. As you win you go up & as you lose you go down. However being re-set on every re-entry is just outright unfair and basicly a cheat for those well advanced caliber players because the are getting easy guaranteed wins over players that are not at their level of play. Any player that wins 6 to 8 or even 10 games in their previous entry should be facing the same type of caliber players upon re-entry. A player that won 0, 1 or 2 games in their last entry should be matched with other players having those same results.

This is why ratings should NOT be re-set upon re-entry.

I only play events for the rewind packs at 5 & 10 wins. It's too much of a grind getting 30 wins for the Featured Card. I easily lose 30 to 40 games by the time I reach my 10th win. I dislike events because many times you need to use cards you may not want to. As well the matching engine is reset per entry & many times I playing someone that is WS caliber player in RS or a 12-0 caliber player in BR. Unlike the engine matching in RS it keeps you within the tier you are if if you keep the slider to tbe far left.

Events would be better if you rating did NOT reset upon re-entry. This way you will be matched more with players at your own level or just a little bit more advanced. It will also slow down WS-RS & 12- 0 BR type of players from getting to 30 wins quickly because their rating is NOT reset either & now they have to play others at their same level of play. No more easy wins over players that are clearly not at their level of play.

At this stage into the game, niether of those modes are worth doing. The rewards you get have dropped down so much in Buy Now - Sell Now & are very close to Quick Sell value. Any Diamonds pulled from Packs are mostly all 85 to 89 LS players which as well have dropped in tje market to Quick Sell value. The only offline modes worth playing at this stage is "Other Programs", Showdowns & Conquest maps tied to the Featured Program or Other Programs. Even also MTO because it gives you ton of XP towards Featured Program.

What they need to do is hire a handfull of retired players as special consultants to this game. They can give insight & feedback on what is realistic or not when it comes to situations, dynamics & outcomes within an actual game. Also SDS is in San Diego. From their own internal database they can easily track down those living in San Diego that has put 300+ hours into this game year after year. They can offer 5 to 10 of them a spot in a team of consultants to give valueble insight & feedback. I can guarantee that die hards that buy this game every year has more hours playing it then the Dev's ever have.

This ensures me always a righty-lefty / lefty-righty matchup and takes away those pitches sailing out & away from me that are easily chased & missed. (Sliders, Cutters, Slurves, Sweeping Curves, Ect.)

**why not Speed & Steal as well be maxed out to 125 ???

True season leading stolen base leaders should have their Speed & Steal attribute surpassing the current max of 99. Pending how many stolen base was their max within a single season or even within their career average on SB's, their Speed & Steal attribute can equate to being 125 max for Ricky Henderson & for others equating to 118, 111, 107, 103, etc, etc.

This will be nightmare playing against those that loves to rely on speed cheesing with SB's & Bunting all game long. However for the players that likes to steal in certain situations only, having a guy or 2 in your line-up that speed & steal exceeds 99 can be a great tool when used right & be very exciting. Too many juiced out cards has players with their speed/steal in the 90's & whom don't really deserve it. So to trump that, true real bonified proven Base Stealers should have their speed/steal exceeding the current 99 max.

How do you feel & what do you think about this ?????

I really do miss Signature Roberto Alomar. Have not seen him in 3 years now. Also miss Signature Carlos Beltran & Dan Quisenberry.

Really dont care who wins the WS as long as its not the Astros or Yankees. Astros are cheaters that should be banned from post season play, regardless if the have enough season wins to qualify division lead or a wild card spot. They should be forced to forfiet their spot to the team right under them in the standings. The Yankees won WS 2x & 3x more than any other team in baseball. I really never want to see the Yankees ever win a WS again.

I'm 52 years old myself & began playing Baseball Video games going back all the way to the days of Atari, Intellivision & ColecoVision. MLBTS is a totally different beast all in itself with being so way more advanced & different then all other baseball video games before. Even so much more advanced than the 2K games on Xbox 360 which was the last baseball video game in existance while MLBTS was starting its run & improving so much more in its game play.

What I mean by game play is how you as the player plays tbe game & how actions are executed via the controller. This is where it becomes so much harder for guys my age to play this game well online & be competitive with most other online players. The old saying "you can not teach an old dog new tricks" falls so true & real. Anything other than Directional Hitting or Classic pitching is way to advanced for me to get used to & executing well. However those ranging from teens to into their 30's can due to so many other video games played which requires a certian controller skill set in order to execute actions correctly & effectively. Those players will always have an advantage over players of my age that are not into & has not played many of these other games which provides honing in all those controllers skills which makes it easier to apply within tbe controller dynamics of MLBTS.

I really do enjoy DD in MLBTS, I enjoy tbe card collecting aspects & the programs & playing with the team I create. For most part I do as much as I can with it offline with Conquest, Mini, RTS, MTO, vs CPU, Moments & Showdowns. However the only way to get certian cards is if you only play Ranked, Events or BR or to simply be willing to buy them in the market "IF" you have the stubs. Therefore players like me will always be disadvantaged in that aspect. However it is what it is. I am not compliaining about this. Just sharing insight & prospective.

I want to see the Phillies win ONLY because I want to see the 4 top season winning teams lose. (LAD, HOU, NYM, NYY) Just proves again & again what you did all season long doesn't mean squat in a best of 3, 5 or 7 series.

Honus Wagner has not been seen all year long & he is released every year. So who knows if it can be Honus Wagner.

Made both Investing for updates & card flipping so much easier & profitable for me. I made more this year in less time put into the market then I ever did in years past. If this is the new normal, then I "LOVE" the new normal.

Surprisingly I have had more consistent production out of FOTF Lindor then I have gotten so far with Finest Lindor which has same amount of AB's that I have had with FOTF. My FOTF Lindor has a higher average & more HR's. In 200 AB's each have had, FOTF averages 1 HR every 8 AB's & Finest only 1 HR every 21 AB's. This makes no sense with Finest Lindor stats being way over juiced out then FOTF Lindor.

Is any one else seeing the same in comparison?

I have the same problems in online play where my timing is way off, compared to vs CPU where I do very well. But this is factored with playing against human people & not a CPU. The CPU is very predictable in counts & locations which makes it easier to guess which pitch is coming & where & is easier to time it. Human players are more random with each person having their own pitching strategy with how to mix up speeds & locations which makes it harder to read & time well. I pitch very well & can hold down the best of himan players to 3 runs & less per game. My problem is me scoring runs myself. Those in online play are just out hitting me. Not because they pitching any much better than I am. But because their swing timing is more on point then I am with mine.

Yes this way is so much better & less frustrating.

Instead of "Do onto others as you would want done onto you" .... with Friendly Quits it has to be "Do onto others the same way they do onto you" ... Easily 99% are not going to accept a Friendly Quit you ask for, so why should you accept theirs?

Return the game & get a refund. This year is the worst. They tried to improve it by tweaking so many things & adding new stuff and all it did was ruin game play & make grinds so much longer, boring & repeatitive. Rewards are not worth the grind. I rather play the much hated 18 instead of 22. Thats how bad this year is.

SDS adds every new card in the game as it's released directly into his inventory so he can come in here & say how great they are. LMFAO

Expansion set up. Allows you to add 2 custom Teams, 1 for NL & 1 for AL. A draft is done that you can take upto 2 players from any team that is not protected by that team. Same how it was done with Marlins & Rays, then again with Rockies & Diamondbacks.

When you are choosing the team you want to START playing a NEW "MTO" in a new save file. Go to customize Team option before accepting that team & going on to next screen. Doing this will open a screen where you set the Team Name, City, Colors, Logo, etc. It also lets you choose which stadium you want to be your home park.
