Welcome to the club. I am on my 4th March to October save campaign because of strikes. I have hundreds of hours into this game if I was going to cheat I would not be doing it on a safe file that I've spent 100hrs of hours to get 15 seasons into the future. I did open a ticket with Sony San Diego after which I got a notice that they were horribly behind so after 7 or 8 days I got a canned response and my ticket was closed.

This happens to me frequently. I'm a member of the alpha program with Xbox and if I happen to be playing the show when I receive an alpha update it always gives me a strike I have now had three saves totaling around 15 seasons of March to October receive the ban. I don't know why the show is not capable of looking at the logs and determining that it is not me s******* off my console to avoid losing a game and that the termination of my internet connection and closing of the game is due to the update I opened a ticket with Sony San Diego and got blown off. I am exceedingly frustrated because the last time that it happened I had finally gotten to the point where I had played consistently long enough so that all of the current players and Major League baseball were retired and I was running solely on computer generated players statistics. I also do not play any online leagues or any of the online content all I play is road to the show March October and the home run Derby. Part of the reason I wanted it this way is because I have played in a seasons that I know exactly which players are going to turn out how and so it makes it less fun because after playing 30 seasons I know that like for my Mariners that if I get Kyle Lewis and George Kirby and Noelle marte they're all going to turn out to be 99 players. And it's more of the unknown that I find appealing.

It's assinine that I can't play the game during basically the only time I have during the week because Sony can't read the Xbox log file which clearly shows it was a server side update request that I did not initiate.

This is now the third time I have had a save file falsely locked for suspicious activity and I'm sick of it. I am a member of the Xbox live beta program and have been for many years. On any given night between 3:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Pacific standard Time the Xbox beta program may or may not update the system at its discretion. If I happened to be playing the show during this point it will interrupt the game with the 'lets update 'option, the turn off option or the stay offline option. Because the game requires an internet connection I have no choice to either stop playing or reboot with the update. After this when the Xbox restarts and I relaunch the show 22 I get the little umpire warning sign that I've been tampering with the game. This is not my issue. it just locked my save file for a save which is almost 15 seasons of the March to October which is what I'm playing now. The same thing happens on RTTS if I happen to be playing that. Someone needs to unlock my save files.
Have you tried "save and exit" under the exit tab? If that doesn't work, I would suggest you don't play MTO between 3 and 4:30. RTTS doesn't matter, but any change would open up MTO to rampant cheating.

It will not allow you to return to the game without an internet connection. It just throws you back to the home screen.you can use the context menu from the MLB 22 game tile but the results are the same.
