No doubt about it. I have bought this game since day one, so that shows you how of an old timer I am. The game is a good time, and I have always gotten good baseball video games, and not so good ones. When The Show came out I was blown away. Had bought any season game as purely and update. They make the money of us types who don't say much but are just addicted to a good MLB baseball game.

So year after year I started noticing, things missing , and old fun additions no longer in the game. These last five yrs I have started to complain, but to who? They fall on deaf ears they don't care at San Diego Studios unless it's a cash grab complaint where they will LOSE money from their slot machine.

1. Franchise- They NEVER take the time to make all player cards with their true to life player photos. But if you go to DD, you have practically 85-100% completed picture cards with no cheesy cartoon caricature in its place. My Tigers have made the playoffs finally last two seasons, and the players that have been with them for at least five seasons, are STILL goofy cartoon caricatures on the player cards. Phenoms, like Colt Keith, and now this years phenom Kevin McGonigal had a monster opening yesterday, and yet again this year, he's pictured as a cartoon goon. Just as Beau BRISKE, Tyler HOLTON, etc. Another year and ZERO changes for Franchise Roater Player cards. It's not like we are asking for the world. If DIAMOND DYNASTY can use the same cards as we have in Franchise, what would be the big difference? It must be some money making issue for you all.

When a person plays Franchise you go over the player cards ALOT, when deciding on contracts, trades resigning etc. That's why this simple issue shouldn't be ignored.

Looks like a roster shuffle again for my Detroit Tigers again in Franchise Mode. Trades will take me an hour till I get the picture cards I want I guess, at least, I can fix it in a real non-team way I guess. Just have to do a ton of editing.

But really, they have stripped down "Live Bullpens". Where you could watch a pitcher warming, instead of reading his name and it saying Warm /Cold, that went away in 2025. Co-op playing was also fun too, but why keep anything the customer likes?

The bullpen activity was cool, you could see them throwing. And even check the CPU teams progress. But now the announcers yell out such and such is warming for the "whomever you are playing"!

WHY...TAKE AWAY SIMPLE GAME PLEASURES??

One day I will smarten up and give up on this habit, prob when they won't let you actively play and it turns into a total sims game, it's simply a lazy way to make money !!!

Please SDS, add this little tweak and I won't have to think about not purchasing the game this year, rather it would be an exciting change for all Franchise Heads out there!!!!

I have been begging for the Detroit Tigers old classic stadium be put in the game for YEARS. Fallen on deaf ears, TIGER STADIUM was a classic and still is as it was built on the same grounds as, and renamed three times.

1. Tiger Stadium
2. Nevin Field
3. Briggs Stadium

ADD TIGER STADIUM INTO THE CLASSICS ON YHE GAME !!!!

Well being a fanatical follower of my team since childhood, I scoured the post spring training news and found they really didn’t want to send him to the minors but Went, a pitcher didn’t have options so he was a casualty of numbers. KH had a real good ST.

Still the game should have him available in the minors at the least, then us Franchise players can elect to bring him up and put him on the 40 man.

Unfortunately, when that happened to me, after trying about everything, I had to start it all over again. And I like to go through players gear and put the right sleeve scheme on the players and bats, cletes, etc, so it took me hrs to get back what I tweaked.

Wish I could give you a better answer friend.

KESTON HUIRA is missing from the Detroit Tigers roster. He almost made the team in Spring Training, but one of our relief pitcher had zero options left so we sent him down to Toledo.

PLEASE ADD KESTON HUIRA IN NEXT UPDATE. He’s having a great start to the season and with the offense struggling already, I wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t called up soon.

Actually I am talked about the roster cards, you know your team ones with the real photos. Diamond Dynasty has probably 90% of ALL players on the 40man and most all prospects too. I always go and buy them all when playing that mode and just shake my head wondering why we can’t have those in the rest of the modes. Same way in Road to October, same generates images instead of real picture cards.

I am hoping one of these yrs they will fix that SIMPLE adjustment. All I can do is keep the issue fresh I guess by posting a few times a year.

Developers never answer you when you ask them either.

I should have known better, didn’t think of that angle, that’s true it’s as bad as the players association.

Getting rights to a player is a major hurdle too.

I will second that, and it’s like some other issues we bring up EVERY year.

Tiger Stadium is a an old classic, and gets the shaft EVERY year.

I feel the same about Legends too, Lou Whitaker should be in the lineup after all these years and was considered & voted on for a HOF slot.

TIGER STADIUM should make the game. It’s not it’s overloaded with stadiums anyway. The game needs a fresh classic stadium or two.

Exactly. You know I have purchased a new copy of this game since it first debuted. And you would think they would listen to some of us that keep it going but maybe that’s the issue, they know we will keep buying, so why do anything new or take a players issue and work on it.

My brother and father were computer systems analysts, and my son does 3D computer work for gaming industry too. They told me it’s such an easy fix to address.

With a little coding work here and there Franchise could have all the PLAYER PHOTO CARDS that DIAMOND DYNASTY has.

I just played them again today, on Diamond and they have practically all player pic cards of my AAA & AA players, so WHY can’t I play with the same on FRANCHISE? It’s just a bit frustrating. I usually trade non picture carded players to other teams, because I love the player pics involved with it. That cartoonish made pic takes away from it for me.

Thanks for listening, at least someone listens and doesn’t turn off the player volume when a concern is brought to the forums.

Well it’s another year and another season of MLB The Show with the same problem ignored as usual.

In Franchise the player card system has limited players show in actual real photo cards. But as usual again if you play Diamond Dynasty, they have most all players photos associated with this team cards.

It’s irritating to see my Detroit Tigers, and every other team for that matter have a generic cartoon picture in Franchise, but in DD, they have most all the players real pictures on the card.

Why is this so hard to make them available in Franchise to use also. I enjoy seeing the team uniforms on our new acquisitions and up and coming rookies. To do that,I have to settle on playing DD, and then go back to Franchise which I have purchased and played since inception YEARS AGO.

Can someone please fix this issue this year, it would be a pleasant surprise to see the same player card photos available in both modes.
