It has nothing to do with combinations of things like pick-offs, stepping off the mound, wild pitches etc lmao. It's definitely flooding just the right amount of traffic to the Amazon game server you are playing on that won't kick both players but it freezes the game.

If you are playing on legend I think it’s a legit reason to play at shippett exclusively.

Last game I lose 8-5 and I felt no matter the score I was in it but my opponent was just too good. Kudos to getting Valenzuela out of game.

High in sinkers we’re no longer meta although still effective.

I just wish all stadiums could play with less lag as shippett is just so ugly and lifeless.

Kudos to my opponent for not quitting and being a good sport.

I threw a perfect game with Felix Hernandez in his debut with Redbar’s Pensacola B’s. 12k. I forgot to track how many pitches but it might have been less than 80.

I once threw a no hitter with Felix in 2012 against the CPU on All-star when I first started playing the show and if not for an E6 in the 9th it would of been a perfecto.

I couldn’t hit a bull’s a$$ with a shovel today so I really needed this as I got lit up my last two games prior.

Part of the problem is the pitching/ hitting sync disrupting the timing of the base running commands. I don’t know how many times I’ve been thrown out with a 90+ speed guy because he froze mid steal but the throw didn’t.

it's a combination of connections, pitcher confidence, and stadium choice. But it also includes things like our reaction times, water intake, and our vitamin levels especially things for our eyes. I often go to store and buy carrot juice. I try to make sure I eat but not too much before I play RS.

recently i've been struggling to hit on BR because the pitch speeds are so slow I am having difficulty holding back on fastballs. There was a point that I was turning on 100 mph sinkers on legend that I've over adjusted to the point where I'm late on fastballs on BR at shippett. its 100% me and muscle memory in my thumbs refuse to adapt to All-star

ken griffey jr baseball was my game growing up. there was a cheat . up, down, left, right which would make ken griffey point to center and you'd hit a homerun every time. classic.

this is decent advice.

I will say, out of bitterness, that left-handed players are naturally just going to be better at PCI placement.

They really need an alternate swing button mechanic with the PCI placement using the right hand.

I imagine practicing any fine motor skills with your left hand will reap more benefits than this drill. Brushing your teeth, writing, eating, wiping your 'power swing' generator ...

You can do this if you want with ps5 and switch the analog sticks in the controls

Zone hitting with Strike Zone view. Make sure your TV is in game mode ?

Man, I've tried that EXACT sequence. Zone is the best for me currently but NOTHING is consistent. I've gone through all the camera angles.
Why is it that I have the zone hitting marker directly over the ball location when it comes through the strike zone, swing perfectly (timing) and still miss?!?!?! It's maddening...

been playing in a mlb 17 lg. pitching is a whole other ballgame. you actually have to have a good eye to hit and you can't just sit on hangers all game or foul off waste pitches all game because it will force weak hit balls into play.

so to me the problem isn't hitting per se but pitching in 20 is what allows impatient hitters to thrive . in 17 you can force easy outs because you can consistently hit the black and it forces the user to decide whether to put the ball in play or not. you can put impatient hitters away in 3 pitches per inning cause they swing at everything but the truly skilled player will mash pitches on the black more frequently. I consider myself a pretty bad at placing the PCI but one thing I am very good at is recognizing balls and strikes around the black and knowing strikes and balls within cm but in 20 that's not really that important since your pitching is going to decide the outcome which is pretty much RANDOM.

i knew this would happen. they need to alter the mechanic a bit to make it a bit easier, they gotta do away with the timing or something.

also the playstation analog sticks are almost impossible to get them to go from the top to the bottom at a straight 45 degree angle downward. it seems the stick gets sucked it into the center.

i don't think many people will stick with it.

this guy has legit solid advice plus he seems like a genuinely good guy.

Josh, until you play online you will remain ignorant. Hitting on legend offline is like hitting on all-star or low tier hof online DD. It’s a lot harder then legend offline. Plenty of us who know the game just as well as you do. Plenty of great players who would destroy you and I promise you are not as good as you think and we all know how good you think you are. I respect that you use stride analog and I use it too but playing online DD is a different beast. If you are Canadian your ignorance is astounding. I am Canadian and I’ve humbled myself to realize these Yankees boys know their game and there are some [censored] good players who you can tell play real baseball year round their whole lives. Until you play online you are the noob who doesn’t know his place. If you are gonna brag make a video or something otherwise you just sound like some cracked out part-timer with some serious Rob Ford vibes. Get over yourself Man.

that means probably one thing that you are a decent player getting matched up with other decent players and all-star is too easy but i am sure once you level up you will sing a different tune.

i hope this is the case i don't think all-star hitting should be hard.

haha Rob Ford vide, how dare you. Here's why online DD stuff is noobish, now I haven't played online but isn't there a default settings for all players to make the playing field is even?..so I'm guessing the pitch speeds for fastballs and offspeed is at default 5?. See to me that's way too slow so that's why it will be too easy for me..basically a fastball will seem like a changeup to me. Legend at pitch speeds max gives you .4 to .5 seconds to react so basically like in RL, that's the pace I wanna play at not at a snail's pace.

The pitch speeds on HOF DD are faster than legend default plus you have human opponents who can dot consistently which makes all the difference. But nvm that because you still haven’t shown any proof that you are the beast you say you are. You are a noob to reality. Come to DD and you will see...

I don't play anything at default dude, my sliders are work of many hours of tweaking and I play at Legend maxed out pitch speeds.

Buddy that’s HOF dd. You’d also be facing the greatest pitchers of all time with funky deliveries, tons of movement, and pin point location. The CPU strategy is weak no matter the sliders. CPU sucks at tunnelling pitches, exploiting and finding holes in swings and dotting consistently. If you want a walk against humans better be prepared to foul off a lot of pitches instead of CPU randomly missing spots. Again, you need to face human competition which you are obviously afraid to do cause it will shatter your reality; of which you are a noob.

And that's exactly the reason why I would never ever want to play online...its basically what can players do to exploit the game's physics..no thank you...I like a game of baseball, not a game of arcade superhero human baseball.

Again you wouldn’t know cause you don’t actually have any experience of what a real baseball game is because you’d rather demote yourself to playing a weak a22 CPU that makes you feel super human rather than your fellow brothers who exploit your weaknesses and force you to play a real game of ball. What makes a real baseball game is the human vs human component or the pitcher vs batter mind games. Sorry bud but you are a noob. Let us know when you become a man and play some real ball facing the greats instead of the likes of Chris Bassit and minor league call ups. It’s easy to respect your joy of real MLB teams and likenesses but when it comes to bragging on a forum when you’ve never faced human competition just makes you a NOOB to reality.
