    Pitcher Stamina
  • ThatRawChino_PSNT ThatRawChino_PSN

While I agree with SDS's intentions of nerfing starting pitcher stamina so that people are discouraged from using starters as relievers, I think that they could have figured out a cleaner solution for it. I've had a couple games now where my opponent has quit early and I personally don't think that that should mean the starter I had used that game should have under 50% energy. Maybe they should consider making it so that the 50% stamina reduction only applies to starters that are used as relievers?

Or, and I would honestly prefer this solution, give the relievers full stamina bars! From day 1 it didn't make sense to me why relievers didn't get full stamina bars when their stamina already depletes at a very fast rate. I think this would be very valuable in further discouraging the use of starting pitchers as relievers since the relievers would actually be able to throw more than 15 pitches in an inning before becoming unusable.

  • CAP glitch?

I think it has something to do with changing equipment. Did you add any new equipment to your Cap before it happened? If so, what was the equipment that was changed or added? I’m about to unlock those Jackie diamond socks, but I’m scared to add them to my Cap because of this.

Sorry this happened to you man. My Cap is my favorite player. I know you must be bumming. I would be.

Actually yes, it always seemed to happen after I changed the equipment up. It's happened multiple times with like sleeves, socks, eyewear, and bats.

But yeah, it's frustrating but thankfully the changes are purely aesthetic so all that I really have to do is change his name and remake him physically.

I was looking to see if this had happened to anyone else, I have Mariano Rivera as my CP and my CAP has magically turned into "Mariano Rivera" 3 times in the last few hours I have to constantly keep reseting his name and appearance everytime is super annoying

Yeah Aroldis is my CP as well so maybe that has something to do with it.

Update 2: I tried to get into a CPU game to see what he looked like and I got a "Challenge Failed" error and the game froze. SDS please fix this!!

Update: it happened again. I had gone and changed it back to Don Julio. This time there's no names, no name audio, age is 0, height is 0'00", he's 100 pounds. In the lineup though he's Aroldis Chapman again.

  • CAP glitch?

I ran into either the most bizarre glitch or most wholesome hacking that I imagine could happen on Diamond Dynasty.

For some background, my CAP is named Don Julio and play shortstop. Didn't tweak his appearance too much, really just gave him some facial hair, made him buff, chose a stance, and obviously made him a switch hitter. I didn't touch too many other things because I was confused by the customization options.

Now for the glitch. Basically I finally got the 89 Diamond SS upgrade for Don and after putting him into my lineup, he randomly became Aroldis Chapman, in name and everything else. He became black, bald, 32 years old, from Cuba, lefty arm, lefty bat, had arm sleeves, a turtleneck.

Thankfully, stats were all still what I expected from the SS upgrade and I didn't find anything else that changed.

Anyone else have a similar experience or even an explanation?

@Collin_SDS One thing that I haven't seen many people talk about is pickoffs. In one day I had "successfully" picked off runners on 3 separate occasions (that is, the runner either tried to steal second on a lefty pick off or he was just caught on his heels). However, all 3 times the button accuracy was cued up even though I would never get the opportunity to make sure that I got the bar in the green for an accurate throw. This resulted in errors that would ultimately give the runner an extra base when they should have been out.

I don't know if this is a change to this year from past years where pick offs didn't require buttons-accuracy input, but I think it's more likely a bug that needs to be fixed. The fact that it pretty much defaults to bad throws has made me hesitant to pickoff which gives baserunners a strong advantage as they know I won't be doing much to hold them on.
