Doubt it. Only changes* I've seen in 4 years of buying this game are pitch speeds. All the usual complaints about gameplay have been pretty consistent.
Strictly talking gameplay. They've of course changed content (moments, inning programs, etc.)
I’m right here with this guy. The game almost hasn’t changed in any way since I started playing when Joe Mauer was on the cover. They adapt the hitting engine and change DD content but apart from that it stays relatively the same.
The game is quite basic, I hope one day they do drastically change it but most games did about a decade ago and this hasn’t in any way. It’s still a one button simulator for the most part. Stealing, one button, hitting, one button, HIT AND RUN, two buttons, and not even at the same time lol.
It’s time to adapt, maybe force people to hold L2 and and time there swing with a PCI if you want to hit and run, maybe need to press a button to catch the line drive at 3rd. It’s closer to a phone app then a million dollar franchise.
