It’s been like this for 3 years. In 25 my first full season in MLB it rained 66 out my first 75 games. I posted and put in a ticket but never got a response. Even sent a screenshot of rain inside The Trop. Lol

No, the only reason it’s required is because no other company has stepped forward to make a game with the MLB license. SDS got a huge discount to use tge licensing for making it multi platform since it was only company currently willing to create a game.

It was bad last year but this year I have rage quit on more than 1 occasion.

Lamest example.
I started a second 2 way player SP/SS I’m pitching game 2 od CWS after my team won game 1. I pitch a 1 hitter into the 9 and get pulled after getting 1 out in 9th. Score 19-0 sim to end YOUR TEAM LOST Score 19-20 I almost put my controller into the television. I just powered off XBOX and opened a cold beer.

Nothing is stopping another company from licensing the MLB brand from MLB. At one time MLBTS, EA, and 2K sports had MLB games eall at the same time.

EA had the smoothest gameplay on multi platform of all 3 at the time, it had basic features but best graphics at the time. EA was the first to drop MLB licensing because they had exclusive rights to NFL for Madden and it was starting to get real expensive to keep NFL.

2K made a decent game also like EA was multi platform it had some glitches but really had some cool stuff. When it would rain instead of spending the entire game listening to announcers complain about umpires calling it and how it would affect pitchers they actually called a delay and a crew rolled tge tarp on the field. 2K was a glitchy but no worse than MLBTS. Career mode in that game was just like RTTS , it even had secondary positions. 2 way players were not yet available. I’m not saying it was a better game but it did have some great ideas.

Back then MLBTS was only available on PSP, Vita, PS2, PS3 I am not sure why 2K dropped but I wish they would come back. SDS has been complacent for years now not listening to customers because they just don’t have any competition.

It’s missing in RTTS this year too.

Bots or not they are artificially manipulating the market because less and less are buying stubs. They started limiting diamonds in RTTS packs last year in May because people stopped buying the over priced sale of air. This year they doubled down. They already got my $90 I’m not going to fall for this EA created micro transaction bs for a full price game.

I realize it has nothing to do with the tokens. Token bonuses have not worked properly since early release and no SDS even acknowledged all the complaints on RTTS forums.

My inning double xp worked 1 time on Saturday and has not been awarded since.

I stopped plying my catcher out of frustration I was talking AI catchers hitting SS side of base. My settings are my plays but I’m usually playing 2B or SS. Changed my 3B to SS because…bunt.bunt,bunt always with full count and 2 outs, not fun at all.

Another thing I have noticed is the catcher is throwing to the SS side instead of 2B side of the base. To tag you literally have to turn before tagging, this seems to be whether or not he’s throwing to a player character in RTTS or when I’m stealing on my RTTS character.

Is it like this in other modes or only RTTS?

I listen to tge voice, text is usually a bit slow.

That mini game sucks, the easiest way is before the pitch move closer to the bag if you suspect a steal. Hold your stick toward the base and once pitch goes you will start moving if you get there early enough it won’t trigger 90% of the time because you give the catcher a good target.

I shut em all off. I can’t stand hip hop. Sony owns their own music studio yet they put this [censored] in every year. Luckily my headphones connect with my XBOX and iPad simultaneously so I fire up SiriusXM on the iPad.

Started a new 2 way not working at all.

Started another 2 way SP/SS because I wanted to try the direct from high school to draft track. Supposed to get 2X for 10 games, it lasted only 3.

So far token bonuses are broken for:

High school to pro
Potential
Pitching coach
Hitting coach

I’m sure I’m missing some feel free to add to the list. We are 3 weeks in with zero responses to whether they will even attend to fix it. Do they even beta test?

Since he was removed this year anyone know which generic stance is the closest? I’ve gone through pages but after a few minutes they all start blending in. lol
