This topic is a tough issue for me because there games are incredible, and I mean that from the perspective of someone who grew up playing sports games in the 90's. I couldn't of comprehended something like the show while I was playing rbi baseball.

That being said I get all the frustrations with today's games and agree with many of the complaints listed in previous posts.

Something I might add is the impact YouTubers have had on sports sims in my opinion. I feel the impact has been mostly negative, especially in games like 2k and Madden. A lot of players now just try and learn the exploits which leads to frustrating and repetitive online gameplay.

My hope is we see a big jump in gameplay on the next gen.

Expectations are too high for a lot of people with sports games today. For someone that grew up playing nes, SNES, 64, ps2 and beyond, the games now are incredible.
I think what makes people unhappy today is forums that tend to be negative. And YouTubers that spread cheesy gameplay (not so much in the show but in 2k and Madden).
I'm not suggesting these games are perfect, and competition would help but in reality these games are pretty amazing imo.

Bullpen arms don't bounce back like starter's arms do. SDS's fault, not your opponents. Stamina needs to be reconfigured

Just finished the AL a few days ago, I need to pull a 90+ diamond at some point or I fear I won't complete the NL till end of July

CBrev is really good, especially when he talks through a game on what he's trying to do at the plate and on the mound. I also like college Lefty a lot. These two guys are informative and humble. Most other guys I can't stand

Awesome idea!! Would be cool too to add player awards somehow. Whoever your best hitter was can get some sort of MVP stub boost. Same for world series MVP ECT. SDS needs to see this

My last two showdowns I get disconnected during the final showdown. I connect right back to the show, and the Spotify I'm listening to never goes out so I don't think it's the internet. Anyone have similar experiences?

Agreed, wish I would have bought him at 140. Now I'm going to stubbornly wait till he comes down

Get rid of the umpire cut scene for check swings please.

For strike zones, SDS needs to look at MLB umpire strike zone maps and adjust accordingly. Pitches an inch or two outside get called strikes with decent regularity

I think for the 3 inning events the low stamina may play a part in the pitch speeds feeling different.

I hate the SP thing too. They need to kill their stamina if they come in and also make them incapable of pitching for 2 games if they start or throw in relief.... maybe like in real life...
Don't worry, SDS will do this to ensure people spend stubs on more high end relievers once they are released.

Redo the sinker. Make it look like a two seamer out of the hand but give it more vertical drop than the two seamer. Lower in the zone the more drop it gets. Buff the two seamer with more horizontal break.

There is only one pitch motion for the other though. Everything comes from the same point 100% of the time. The movement for a 2 seam or sinker is based on the pitchers arm slot and rotation. They are gripped the same way, but the lower the arm slot the more arm side run and less vertical drop.

Good points, but the main issue with the sinker is it doesn't come out of the hand correctly, regardless of arm slot. The two seamer looks more accurate imo.

That is done on purpose to help the batter with pitch recognition. None of the hitting views allow for depth perception that you get IRL. Concessions have to be made so people can actually hit the ball.

Pick 5 different camera settings and the sinker will look different out of the hand in everyone.

But as far as I know no one in the game throws a 2seam and a sinker.

Ask yourself how much more fun the game would be on HoF if you didn't have to face glitchy sinkers all the time? Hitting would become easier so now SDS should give pitchers an inch or two off the plate away. There's plenty of umpire graphs out there that show the percentages of what locations are called strikes vs balls.

Do this and I think pitching / hitting is much better.

I won't the deny that the game has some flaws but it's still funner than 18 and 19 imo with potential to be as good as 16 and 17. Plus this community is 100x less corrosive than 2k
