He dipped very briefly Wednesday night...162k I could have had him for. I ended up buying around 167 and Holy cow did he spike right after. I hope Verlander stays at 100 as I continue to grind more stubs.

I remember when he was like 110k, and I was thinking "I'll just wait this out, and get him when he's under 100"..

imagine his price when a big stub sale hits(memorial day weekend is next weekend). I have about 6 big targets im waiting on, and i probably could get them to get mantle, but i just cant seem to shake and pay that much for these guys ill never used. Thankfully got trout at 270k, but lack belli, arenado, Verlander, degrom and mad max.

I got Cole about two weeks ago. I had my eye on him for about a month leading up to the purchase. I told myself that if his card's price went close to 150,000 stubs I was going to buy it before it got there. I think I purchased his card for about 147,000 stubs. The card's "extremely effective fastball" quirk is important.

So glad I jumped and got him when he was 150k, it would be hard justifying spending 550k for him and Trout alone.

You think they'll have a stub sale next weekend after just having one a few weeks ago? I wouldn't think they'd have 2 so close together like that but never know i guess. I'm trying to get this LS collection done too so sure hope not!
