So we have a daily moments for Mookie. In 2018, when he won MVP, he hit for the cycle. That is awesome, what an incredible accomplishment - definitely a moment worth reproducing.

Here is my wtf questions -- Why are we using LS series...LAD...88ovr...not hitting righties well Mookie Betts when SDS just made a 2018 MVP Mookie card that fits the exact moment we are attempting to replicate?

1. People pay for game pass.
2. Who is "they"? It came out prior to launch that the MLB essentially told SDS that the game was to be put on game pass. SDS had no choice.

Once again SDS decides to use the “we’re just not going to address that” method with its community.

The communication on server maintenance has been pretty disappointing.

The shame with the lack of (and poor) communication and server issues is that the game plays SO WELL.

A lack of communication and transparency has once again placed SDS in poor light.

It's amazing how many pitch forks would be put to rest if SDS would simply state:
"The problem(s) is..."
"We are attempting to ... in order to..."
"Our ETA for servers to be running again is __ PST.
[When approaching the ETA window] "Servers will be on and active as the initial ETA stated." Or "We are still taking on server challenges, our ETA is now ___PST."

Communication especially when faltering and failing is a key to recovery. We lose in life and competition when we do not properly communicate when the pressure is on.

The coward not only tried bunting to break up a perfect game, he quit in the bottom of the 8th after a single shot to right from Lofton to go up 3-0. I was 3 batters away from a perfect game.

Note to others: Don't compete online if you cannot handle both outcomes. That means being a good winner and a good loser.

What happened is just wrong. Know this: if you're pitching a perfect game against me, I'll stick it out.

Eh...it's the exploitation of animations/defenders slothing through decisions.

I dont know if it could be patched. Basically what I see people do from time to time answers the question: Are you secretly an a-hole?

The answer for a decent amount of people is "yes."

I don’t know why more people don’t do this, but here is my strategy:

Start the year off by buying a bundle of 50 packs, but make sure you get the ones that have 4 Trouts in each pack. That’s 200 Trouts (a school or Trout, if you will), and you’ll keep one and sell 199. Let’s say you sell each for an average of 300K. That brings in 53,730,000 stubs (factoring in the 10% tax). Assuming The Show packs are still going to be 1,500 stubs, you can purchase 35,820 additional packs. But, again, only buy the ones that have 4 Trouts in each pack. Forgetting to do this is where so many people go wrong. This will give you 143,280 Trouts. Assuming there are 4 levels of exchanges for each of the AL west teams, you can use 16 trouts as exchanges in the new program and still have 143,264 Trouts. Once again, you’ll need to sell these at an average of 300K. That will give you 4.2984e10 stubs, which should be enough to finish off the LS collection and leave enough left over to buy 5 Headliners Series 1 packs.

This is how I have completed the LS each year since 2006. That was back before trout was even in the big leagues, so almost no one had the foresight to invest in him the way I did.

So I’ll be switching over to my Series X this year. I will be the first to admit my disdain for card collecting/team builder modes.

Diamond Dynasty is the most user friend of them all. I went a year where I spent stubs and another where I didn’t. The only difference is the speed at which you’re team is built and honestly, there isn’t huge difference between the two; maybe day 1/day 2 versus a week to build a solid team (I said solid, not stacked). My advice for new DD player:

• ask questions, any question and you should get an answer. I have even had guys offer to get into a voice chat.
• Flip cards, Flips cards, Flip cards. There are millions of DD players, you’re not the only guy who has or needs a specific card for a collection. Additionally, 150 stubs per sale adds up faster than you think.
• Just PLAY. Login? A reward. Played a regular game v CPU? Here are some stubs. Played DD online? Stubs. Played DD offline? Stubs. MtO? A bevy of rewards. It’s gotten to the point where if I say baseball in a public space, stubs will be added to my show account.
• Last one: Play your way. Meaning: choose the hitting, pitching and fielding mechanics that work for you.

It’s a well made game and I am thankful that it’s on the Series X. If your on the One or Series X/S hit me up and let’s play ball.

So, I consider myself a pretty good athlete -- played sports, was a starter and was a stage fighter in/post-college.

Class is dismissed, and go to get out of my spot, so does she. I plant my foot to push off in order to get out of my desk. Welp... small tear in my calf muscle.

I was 974 last season without contact swinging and I don't consider myself elite. Elite is people like pitching_rebel. CS you are a very good player unless you are taking advantage of a broken game mechanic to get there. Looks to me without the broken game mechanic you are a 500 rated player with really good cards. Nothing wrong with being a 500 rated player but far from elite.

What kind of moronic assumptions are you making? I'm rated 800 to 900 every year and in online rated I am always in the top 100.

So they had time to improve game modes and develop another that no one asked for, while ignoring a game mode that fans have been screaming to see changes and additions to. They're not listening; they're looking for $ signs. Last year the development team added leagues to Diamond Dynasty, but completely ignored franchise mode. The addition of online leagues to Diamond Dynasty tells you that the capability to add online franchise is there and that it is not a priority for the SDS -- most likely because it does not generate revenue post-purchase. At this point-in-time the lack of improvements to franchise mode is inexcusable. If they come-out tomorrow or at some-point prior to launch and announce that Online Franchise will be apart of the game, than I'll have no problem stating mea culpa. I am not going to hold my breath. I await another crummy excuse.
