All I really care about is the pitcher. Not being able to see their pitcher is ridiculous and can dramatically screw up your game.

For example I have Harper, Griffey, Ohtani, Seager who are all lefties and I start them every game. But if my opponent is starting a LHP, then I wont start all 4 of those guys cause my bench is really deep and I want to be able to play matchups later on in the game if I have to.

But since I cant see my opponents SP, I am forced to either start my lefty batters against a LHP and be at a disadvantage. Or I can put myself in a better position and once the game starts i can substitute in my right handed batters but then I lose those left handed hitters the rest of the game.....

It's absolutely stupid and makes zero sense to not show the pitcher.

It makes sense if you played DD several years ago when this was a thing. Lefty pitcher would see 8 righty hitters. Righty pitcher would see 8 lefty hitters. You need to be able to hit same handedness and I think this way is better than the old way.

Or is for people that have a plethora of money because they have exhausting careers and families to take care of so dropping money on Stubbs here and there is a drop in the bucket as opposed to someone sitting on their [censored] flipping a virtual currency Market instead of getting a job. Imagine thinking 58-year-old Randy Johnson has a live series card. Also imagine worryring about what other people do with their money. Maybe $2,000 is a drop in the bucket to that guy. I'm guessing he might be laughing at you in the end.

Horrible lineup for pulling trout multiple times. I can think of 80 cards that would improve your lineup.

Much like Facebook when someone checks into the hospital but then doesn't say why and then when 200 people post under there asking if they are okay and what's wrong and sending prayers but the person never specifies why they're in the hospital. It's just an attention grab. Just feel sorry for them and move on. No one should care if you're no money spent or if you drop $5,000 on the game like a streamer. It's irrelevant you're either good at the game or you're not.

Here's a tip for the noobs. When a cheeseball puts in a knuckleballer then make sure you turn on directional hitting and circle swing. When you get on base steal every base. Beat cheese with cheese. Your opponent will quit more times than not

And while I don't find them hard per se, I've been in many where the pitcher doesn't throw you anything. Or hits you in your last attempt. Those "moments" make me hate the game.

You clearly never played '18. Talk about the emptiest, worst kind of grind. Playing the cpu on rookie 9 inning games because you need 700 k's, 900 innings pitched and 400 putouts by a shortstop. Worst game of all time.

They are all repeatable. And you can use players from 1 of three teams. You aren't forced to buy anything.

I read all the hubbub all day on this forum about the 120 hz and how great it was. Whenever I hop into online play, which is all I play, I warm up in custom practice on legend with the FB sliders turned up 4 notches. I did the same thing tonight as i normally do. I was tracking and turning on 100mph beefed up legend pitches with ease. I was like that loser Kyle. I feel unbeatable. If this is how Xbox plays all the time, that's a wrap. It's plain and simple not fair. I turned off cross play and suggest everyone not in Xbox do the same thing. Make SDS and/or Sony inform us what the reasoning is for this. Let Xbox have their advantage with their own players. This is ridiculous!

Dude its literally on veteran. I got this done in two hours. You're always complaining about the pitchers not throwing strikes. After this many complaints I gotta say it is your issue. I may get a walk every ten moments. Thwy are meant to be easy enough for anyone to complete. If you can't get hits thats on you man. Sorry but this many complaints is ridiculous.

It is your fault. Everyone gets handed an at bat like this from time to time. You have two options. Take the walk and restart the mission or swing at a ball and purposely miss by a foot so you can get more pitches. Both options should take a second or two of your time. The amount of time you take to upload pictures and create threads about this is mind boggling. You could probably get these done in the time it takes to blab on this forum. I go on here when taking a dump, bored at work or right before bed. I couldn't imagine going on here mid game to rant. Best of luck.

What an absolute joke that we are now in September the regular baseball season is almost over and we can't even play the game of baseball. This is why people leave for other games. Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle and Hank Aaron are all cool but if you can't play the game when you want what good are they?

I just did the new conquest and after completing it I probably had a total of 15 to 20 assorted packs. I got a Chase pack out of a standard show pack and pulled the takashi Carlos Delgado. Yes please!

Funny how SDS thinks I will buy stubs to compete. I don't function that way. I buy stubs if I get rewarded sometimes and need an extra push. The only time I put in extra money, I pulled Sale for 70k. Haven't pulled anyone close to that and haven't put any more money in since. All not getting rewarded is going to do is see me tank down to 400 to work on dailies and 40 wins for RS reward. Then I'll make the WS later.

40 events wins, 40 more events wins, 40 BR points, then 100 BR points, 40 RS wins will net you 9 good diamonds you can build a team with or sell for collections. All team affinities packs and stubs. 2 inning bosses plus the diamond packs. Then all the stubs from the programs. You should be ashamed of yourself to claim this is pay to win. Yes some people get luckier than others with packs but if you curb your pack addiction you should be well on your way to chipper. You should at least have the AL or NL done if all your stubs went into live series collections. Stop blaming the cards for your losses..
8 have chipper and feel i am pretty decent at the game. On that note, i have been shelled by an all 42 series squad on gall if fame..
skill still rule the day even with the flaws.. Flaws of the game go both ways and affect both players. Shame......shame.......shame......

I couldn't disagree more. Yes the game has issues but All-Star is absolutely a nightmare. If you are striking out 15 times then you really need to practice because that is not my experience whatsoever and I am not top-tier. Gameplay is way better on Hall of Fame than it does on All Star and like I said in the past Legend is another breed

Don't buy packs. Open free packs, sell the cards and buy who you want. This is the most content in a sports game you will ever see without needing to spend a dime for an excellent team.
