4-1, with one game left to play… choked my fifth game in late innings and lost in extras. I’m in the 700-799 rating range.. probably shouldn’t of one a couple of the first four too being honest lol

I wanted to share my observations from gameplay for this year, which is pretty similar to previous years. I think this game plays half way decent to be honest. Hitting can be hit or miss, but at the end of the day it all comes down to consistency.. can you but the barrel (pci) on the ball.. I’ve always told myself if you’re making good contact the hits will eventually drop and I’ll string something together, which typically is the case online.

There are games that in the first few innings no matter what you can’t buy a hit but in later innings when pitcher energy has gone down they will start to drop. When it comes to hitting I think a lot comes down to pitcher energy and confidence (or whatever it’s called).. does anyone know if when confidence is high does the pitcher get like additional stat boosts or something? It feels like when it’s maxed that good swings always seem to be a little softer and line outs, which I think contributes to people’s frustration. I know from hitting side of confidence is shot the PCI seems to get much larger, so just curious if it works the other way around?

Overall, yes it can be frustrating, but the game does seem to play pretty decent. Baseball, huh?

Typically do all squares and a zone sweeper, plus either veteran or all star for the stadium games depending on which odds I want to try

Well this is a bummer quciksell cards would fulfill the order and was the best way to predict future player increases

Just curious how many do you have? Cause I only have one and to exchange you need to have two. Are we suppose to have two or only one with one releasing at a later date?

I do like the idea of captains and use them on my teams. I would love if they found a way to have a captain card that gave huge boosts to let’s say commons, bronze, silvers, and golds that boosts them to like mid 90’s or something. Of course would have to find a way to balance with what ever is the average power creep at the time. But with that we would have so many options to build teams and use all the cards in our collections.

Imagine running at a team of all commons boosted to mid 90’s or whatever the power creep overalls are.

Since they let you do that, I don’t see why they wouldn’t just give all the free cornerstone cards in one pack

I have to be honest, the one thing I really like about seasons is that live are series cards are way more useable. Usually we just have stacked teams of an alternate card of a current player, but something feels better about using the cards i spent a lot of stubs on..

Other than that, they kinda stink lol

Honestly hall of fame feels like how all star should feel, however hall of fame (depending on what field your playing) can be really high scoring

Was about to come here and post about hitting.. but oh my is it horrible. Not sure if it’s just battle royale or what but it’s either some fluke [censored] single then a homer and it goes both ways. It feels like the game predetermines who is gonna get the hits and it’s either you get the good rng or you don’t. There doesn’t feel much skill right now. I shouldn’t be winning games 9-2 with 12 hits then all of the sudden next game I can’t hit a beach ball.. can we just have a competitive online gameplay that stops really rewarding bad contact?? It’s so infuriating.

If you play online, event with division built lineups help fly through them. Gotten through the AL within the event

Took a year off last year (played maybe the first couple weeks then stopped) and this year I’m already bored.. don’t think it’s lack of content, but seems like pack situation is out of hand this year.. Anything worth value I should say is in existent and not that great cards are in other packs, it just feels all new potentially useable cards are locked behind a 30K or 40K pack.. I would love to try new cards but running out the same team in ranked or events over and over is just boring..

Can you turn off trades in RTTS? Why let me pick my team if I’m just going to get traded for a back end reliever… this is so stupid and an absolute waste of time.

I get SDS is a company and there main goal is to make money, but this year the pack/card situation just seems to much. There are way to many of these tiered packs costing 30-40K for cards that will be pointless. Hope they listen to the community or the community stops spending real money on stubs. Seems like we’re going back to the 2019/2020 days when the best monthly rewards were locked behind large paywalls.

On the bright side gameplay has felt good, no complaints there lol
