Yes, someone on Series X can play with someone on PS4, just like someone on PS5 can play with someone on Xbox One X. It doesn't matter.

20 already looks pretty good on PS5 and it's a PS4 game. I'm sure the PS5 version will look good, but to expect it to look leaps and bounds better than what we have already just isn't realistic. We're at a point of diminishing returns.

NBA 2k21 next version looks substantially better than its last gen counterpart and it had less development time than the show so I’m not buying that

Although to be fair, the arenas in NBA 2K are kind of samey. Ballparks are bigger and have more variety and assets to take care of.

Wouldn't a compromise fix be like if the swing timing on a check swing is Too Late/Too Early it's 100% called a strike, Very Late/Very Early is 85% called a strike, Just Late/Just early would be 50/50 and good timing would be 85% called balls?

So you are advocating for more RNG. In other words, a check swing would be called a strike in some situations no matter how light you are on the button. Are you going to prevent me from check swinging on purpose with contact swing?

That's fine and all, but let's call it what it is. Most people detest RNG in Diamond Dynasty, or at least they say that.

Holding up on your swing should always be penalized less than committing to your swing on a ball in the dirt. We've all faced those 10-12 pitch ABs where a guy fouls off everything at ankle height. Those should be looked at before check swings.

At least the check swinger did something different than the foul baller.

Promise broken based on what they showed today. I compared the shots in the trailer to MLB 20 running on a PS5, and it's hard to see the difference in all but the facial hair.
