I see so much negativity on these forums, the livestreams, social media, etc. I just wanted to say I’ve been playing this game a ton in the last few weeks and I’m absolutely loving it. SDS does a great job, keep it up.

I think these are great changes for Battle Royale and Events, but Ranked and Weekend Classic should not be “in a hurry” modes and should cater to people who want to play a realistic (and strategic) 9 inning game.
I’ve already timed out of one Ranked game this year, and this morning I came within 3 seconds of timing out after doing nothing but bringing the infield in to cover bunts, and changing pitchers. I had to keep a reliever in for 2 innings because I was scared I would run out of time if made a change.
I don’t know if the timer runs out faster than it’s supposed to, or there’s just not enough time, but I would love to see it go back to how it was.

K I agree with this… maybe the sliders are messed up for that moment?
I’ve been hitting off DeGrom on Legend for practice and Nolan’s fastball on Rookie seemed just as fast…
My favourite part of each year’s game is the first couple of weeks when you need to build your team up from scratch and make difficult lineups choices. I booked the first day of S2 off work and it was insanely fun basically having a second launch day… I will probably do the same thing for the first day of S3.
I’ve also noticed positive changes to the gameplay since they tuned the foul ball frequency. I’ve seen much more realistic strikeout totals online since the patch.
Excellent game this year SDS, I wish I didn’t have to go to work and could just play all day every day.
My goal for 22 is to make World Series every season in Ranked. I only made it once in 21. Lord have mercy on my soul.

Anything like this that incentivizes competitive online play rather than grinding against the CPU on Rookie is a massive W.
Thought it was great overall. Unfortunately my 3rd game (which was also my World Series game) was a complete mess of teleporting pitches and lagging. This game was played on Friday night so I assume it was a very busy time for the servers.
This was the only gripe I had though… enjoyed my 5 other games and enjoyed the weekend overall.
