I did not buy the game that's right. If you'd have been around you would've known my arguments and reasons, but there's a handful of clowns around here that completely invalidate my input because I stopped giving SDS my money for a yet another copy/paste job, despite me playing the tech test, having played the game at friends, staying informed, and having played this game for a decade.

This was a horrific idea.

I know it's too late for this season but for the love of god make some sort of salary cap mode in Ranked for next season. Then release all of the cards you want but at least make the lineups a little more challenging to put together.

Literally every other game does it in their "Ultimate Team" mode in one way or another. Sure, in Events there are limited cards you can use but you still get the same lineups. It's such a shame, the gameplay and feel is tremendous this year, but the long term playback of the game this year is just not sustainable like this.

you'd see the same line ups in salary cap mode as well.

i've had cross play disabled for two years only because the connection is poor PS to Xbox, but is there cheating? possibly, but if yoou watch the ohchev video guy hitting 650 online on legend only swinging and missing three times? Something is off there. That # of swings and misses is unreal. Thats my only gripe of possibly something being off.

One of the mistakes they made (IMO) is not making the set 1 collection rewards CORE cards. the wild card spot is supposed to be a tough pick, your best card you have or you do well with.

the difference between 97 and 99 in this game is nothing, a 97 with a better swing will always be better than a 99 with a bad one. Card overall does not matter.

Ok I know the meatriders here will say otherwise but this game is in a horrible state gameplay wise. I’m not going to get into why it’s been an unenjoyable grind and doesn’t feel great to play but we can all agree numbers don’t lie.

Now just to put things into perspective Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Division 2, Tomb Raider, Black ops 1 thru 4, 4 Assassins Creed games, Gotham knights, etc are all doing better then this game on Xbox Live. Nobody is playing this mess.

It’s absolutely horrible but the no life grinders and $$ spenders will flock to posts like this to validate their actions. It’s the worst competitive sports game ever made.

you mean the people that are good at the game that spent time perfecting thier skill to get better to make the game more enjoyable rather then complain because its to hard. Don't get mad at those people, just like anything in life if you want succeed you have to practice, there is casual options in this game, just because you might not enjot it, the comp community is loving it this year game play wise. Its far and away supreme over the last two installments.

exactly mate and well said - i hardly play these days but long time veteran of this game - i only play online when i make time for gaming these days - last year i was 36-1 in RS, this year i am 9-2 in RS so far and play events for cards / stubs etc. its better than 18-22 years no question - 2016 and 2017 were up there too for me too as some of the best years

I went flawless yesterday for the first time ever in my life playing this game, i put up a 15 spot in the top of the 4th to win 17-2 in extras. I am by no means a top player in this game or the "1%" , the feeling of achieving something I thought I'd never do is more than worth the price of this game. And i wish more of the "casual players" would stop using that as a crutch or an excuse to why the game isn't fair, WS and BR rewards use to never be obtainable without making WS or 12-0. now we have programs for both that gives you progress for just playing the game. Those rewards being no sell should be no sell, it defeats the value and purpose of reaching 900 or going flawless.

Haven't posted in awhile but i have some thoughts on a wish list for 23.

1. Add a playoff mode for online DD, take your DD team into a playoff format where it takes X amount of wins before losses each round to advance.

2. night games online in created stadiums, this was advertised but only works for offline.

3. add a h2h playlist and a competitive playlist, h2h you can ear rewards, competitive helps you earn the rewards faster but you're playing on a higher difficulty, to where regular h2h can be a universal pitch speed ( will benefit comp players and casual players)

4. pause timer, it is awful the way its abused

5. a next gen version. Its time to make a next gen version exclusive to next gen consoles, were at that point where the game needs an update to run better, playing a ps4 game on a ps5 is not why we got next gen consoles.

all people do is complain. Jazz is awesome with the mlb the show community, fun and exciting to watch, who cares that hes not the best, this is awesome for marketing and growing Jazz's name but also educates newer baseball fans.

its the same people that whine on here on a daily basis, saying that this is their "final year" playing only by May to see a constant thread of them complaining about how bad game play is and how they "wont be playing next years version". The cover looks sick, the art is awesome, the game comes out earlier than expected, lighten up folks.

Exactly... all you have to do is nerf your bench, the back end of your rotation and majority of your bullpen, especially with the use of DH now... find the lowest commons/bronzes to put on your bench that have decent to great speed and/or power and do the same with bullpen arms... depending on how stamina works get 3 of your best starters and nerf the last two since they'll most likely never see the mound if stamina works in your favor.

every YT account would post videos saying "BEST POSSIBLE SALARY CAPPED MODE SQUAD"

everyone would rock the same squads, its just the nature of online gaming, everyone is competitive and wants to win.

They could easily use the free cards, save MT, sell off their boosts, badges, shoes, etc...and then buy McGrady in the AH eventually.

At least that way, there is a strategy involved.

You really want to go into EVERY online game a week after the game is released and play against a 99 McGrady on EVERYONE's team?!?!?

Because that's what's going on in DD right now. Every game it's 99 Lindor. 99 Trout. 99 Ohtani...being used a the CLOSER.

That's the entire POINT of this post...

If MyTeam had 99 McGrady and 99 LeBron on EVERY team you play online 7 days after release...they would be getting killed online.

I mean people had to work to get that 99 Lindor... as far as Trout well it is what it is... oh and Ohtani has a closer card and well fatigue is a factor in this years game so they can keep trotting any Ohtani card out to take the mound to close the game all they want, it's your job to hit the pitches that your opponent throws with him.

I say this as someone that only has Lindor but I have a nice little collection that I've been grinding for of non-99s that are absolutely amazing for me (atleast in games vs CPU), might see what these guys can do in Ranked this week at some point since I still need the Ranked Seasons Egg.

the grind it took me to get 99 chipper finally last night was nauseating, but according to a few i was handed it, and they didnt make me work for 99 chipper.

2. US Conquest map complete
3. LS collection complete (nms)
4. CS at 822 rn working on hitting WS
5. Both BR programs complete

I'm struggling a bit on HOF so curious if vision is a worthwhile attribute to focus on when creating lineups for the higher difficulty in ranked.

Vision plays a role in timing windows, some cards with great contact and power may look great but could have lower vision that can hurt there timing
