lol, I just shared this story to laugh it off and share a story with everyone. She is cuddled up with me on the couch as we speak.
You can’t make this up. Wife is getting ready for a shower leaving me with a baby on my lap and enough time to play a game of ranked seasons. While splitting time between the game and baby management, I throw a pitch. As the pitch is being delivered, my dog grabbed the remote and turned off the TV. By the time I got the remote and turned the TV back on, the batter was rounding third base for a two run inside the park home run as my outfielders stand lifelessly in the outfield.
Needless to say, I ultimately lost by two runs.

I think my mistake was factoring in the plus 6 for the monthly awards, which brings the total stars to 58. I thought that you needed 60 for Crochet, rather than 50. My bad!
I guess I’ll have to check my math, thanks guys.
This is not another thread moaning about the tops now and award series being put in 40K packs. Believe me, I hate it too, but there’s plenty of other threads about that. Rather, I noticed that the collection missions within the program said “optional,” so I assumed it could be finished without buying those players. The only missions I have left are 1 more XBH with a DH, and the stat missions with Trout. I just did the math, and it appears that will put me 2 points under what is required for Crochet. What gives? Is there a repeatable mission that I’m missing, or is it a flat out lie that the collection missions are “optional”?

That is a well thought out argument. Back in my college days I could play all the time. Now I have a full time job, a wife, and a child. I rarely get to play Monday through Thursday, and even Friday through Sunday is less than I’d like, but I did hit that XP cap on Saturday last weekend and it sucks. It would be great if it was a weekly cap, I’d never go near reaching that.
Double XP? Why, so we can hit the XP cap in 45 minutes?
I’m surprised I haven’t seen any posts on here about this, but I’m seeing posts all over social media saying that OOHPADRES worked on an 87 Future Stars Jake Cronenworth, but you had to be in San Diego to redeem. It seems that codes has been shut down, as has the other two because you were supposed to be near a billboard to redeem each card, but people have been sharing them online.
SDS, this is very disappointing in my opinion. People shouldn’t be granted cards others can’t get simply based on where they live. It’s bad enough they’re being hidden behind a redeemable code you have to enter online, now people will have to try to use VPNs to complete their collections? Give me a break.

Agreed, it sucks. I was hoping they’d be delivered tomorrow, but mine hasn’t even shipped yet.
If you don’t use the stubs, then you probably aren’t very invested in DD, so no, I would say it’s not worth it. But if you are interested in getting into DD or value equipment/sponsorships for offline play, then yes, it’s worth the upgrade.
One very easy change I’d love to see incorporated is picking your draft position for fantasy drafts in franchise. I hate repeatedly backing out and starting over until I finally have a top two pick for the chance to get Ohtani on my team.
There was a comment on Facebook that voiced my thoughts perfectly. The guy said he is all for this and believes it is a cool feature, but at the same time, we want actual changes to RTTS and Franchise, not just new avatar options with some new crummy text choice cutscenes. I really hope SDS comes through with some real changes beyond just the addition of females to the same old RTTS.

Stott did not earn a POTM card which is understandable when compared to Estrada, a 2B who was given a card.
And I am honestly not sure what "nick" you are speaking of.We don't know, as far as I have seen, who the Topps Now players are but from glancing at the Topps Now site Stott got a card on 4/18 so if he did not get one for that week he is probably out of luck.
He definitely means Castellanos since that completes his Phillies trio. What about Acuna? I don’t think he’s included either unless I overlooked him this morning.

I saw someone on Reddit say this as well. Kinda garbage that they told us we had to restart our season and then They were eventually able to fix it.
Juiced packs equals a market crash, so no thanks.
As I recall a big reason SDS introduced events is to provide shorter games to the community. If anything, they could change BR or Events to be a little longer but less than 9 innings, or just create a new game mode somewhere in between 3 and 9 innings, but the last thing they should do is drop RS from 9 innings.

His price is already dropping. He was always a little more expensive than Goldy and that is no longer the case. The downside is that I think it caused Goldy's price to shoot up some.
Just wait until Arenado actually does drop, then Goldy will really shoot up. I plan on buying him before the next roster update for that reason. I may even try to buy him before tomorrow in case a stub sale drops.
I don't have enough stubs for Goldy. I am not sure even if I sell a bunch of stuff that I will.
I’m stocked up on Nico Hoerners and Ozzie Albies. I may end up quick selling all of them to buy Goldy. I’m sure they’ll be upgraded at the next roster update, but I can take that hit if I need to.
