I really wish this game would just play out based on user skills and stop making it where bad players are able to be competitive. In BR the better player will hit line drive after line drive for outs and a bad player can strike out 7 times and win on a bloop late timing weak contact hit. I really don’t like complaining but I’m finding myself playing less and less this year. I’m gonna continue to run some stats on this but charting several games vs opponents with losing records and it’s just hard to chalk it up to bad luck when the consistency is happening in the numbers.

my 22% hit rate on line drives
Opponents 60% hit rate on line drives

My 25% hit rate on good contact
Opponents 60% hit rate on good contact

My 30% hit rate on good timing
Opponents 38% hit rate on good timing

My 24% hit rate on balls put in play
Opponents 30% hit rate on balls put in play

Opponents near 40% hit rate on Chased Out of Zone

Just bad luck and need to practice more I suppose will be the answers.... sorry for the rant. Just hoping I’m not the only one feeling this way. I love the game and I love baseball but it seems something is off this year and maybe it’s simply they want more people to play the game and therefore they do what other games do and try and “set up” a “fair” gameplay by taking away from the more skilled player and giving to the less skilled player.

Is everyone on BR cracked right now?

Sweet lord...my last 3 opponents records - I lost to each one (meaning all of these were my game 1 draws for a BR run lol)

needless to say I am taking a break for awhile bc it’s been a rough one haha

So maybe my next game 1 of BR run will be someone 99-0 lol. Where all the 9-78 people I see playing in a streamers 12 win flawless game.

Not to mention that 11 of my last 12 games in BR were against all winning records.

I’m over here throwing what must be beach balls to these guys I play in my FIRST dang game of a BR run lol.

Y’all what is happening with hitting?

No I NEVER use contact swing.

I’m squaring up ball after ball and everything is either lineouts or as if I’m hitting with a noodle bat. This makes no sense? Like a switch flipped and now I’m getting no hit by losing record players in freaking BR because I will lineout 8/9 times. I really don’t love complaining but this is insanely weird!

Maybe I just need to take a little break and come back but it’s been this way for 3 days straight now for me. If I sucked, I’d admit it but this is nothing to do with user input I promise you. Ugh frustrating. Sorry y’all.

Sequence of Events:

1. I take lead on a 2 run HR.
2. Opponent brings in maxed out CAP submarine LHP.
3. Opponent gets out of inning and now bats in bottom half of inning.
4. Opponent hits a chop single with bad PCI and extreme late timing.
5. Opponent hits bloop single to center and I am unable to have control over my CF. Opponent overruns 2nd and the cutoff I threw it to now isn’t throwing ball to 2nd. He literally is just walking around after I’ve signaled throw 3 seconds prior. (Opponent literally was halfway between 2nd and 3rd and gets back to 2nd easily bc of this)
6. Opponent hits a late timing bad contact bloop single to Left for 2 RBI.

Just sharing for those who have joy from seeing others suffer through online play. Lol. I’d say I quit forever but we all know I’ll be back to break another controller sooner than later. Lol

I’m at 28? I think I’ve done each day but not sure. It would be a nice idea to show what the max available points are…either that or take away double point days and make it the exact total days of month and we could know by looking at calendar (ex. Oh it’s July 23rd so I should be at 23 points.
