I’ve always been more of an offline grinder and enjoyed conquest. This year conquest is bad. It was already getting stale and needed a rework. So they “reworked” it by making the cpu an asshole. The pizza map is the worst. You literally spend more time watching the sim screen than actually playing games. At least they make it interesting (infuriating) by letting the cpu regularly win sims down 10-1.

How is it “cheating” when someone sits there for 7 hours walking batters? There’s also other things that reward xp that you can load up until you are almost complete before the program even drops. Then knock them out with a few wins/hits/etc. it’s just like the guys that go 11-0 in BR and then sit on it until the new reward drops.

I bet you get mad as hell at the guy you see driving a nice car to his nice house while looking out the window of your moms basement.

With the parallax program he will be useable the entire year only being replaced by a better version of himself. Hats off to SDS for the program. They found a way to make live series cards viable for much longer.

Think of inning programs like Warzone/Fortnight/Apex “seasons”. Once you max out you wait for the next one. Last year we had an xp reward path that kept going. People figured out ways to glitch it and get an entire years worth of rewards in just a couple of months. Now we get per inning program xp only.

It’s a perfect way to give bad players a crutch. Can’t catch up to a fastball? Home run! Swing 5 minutes early on off speed? Home run! Meanwhile, I’m hitting 480’ outs on perfect/perfects.

You millennials would still be locked in your closets shaking uncontrollably and drowning in your own tears if you had been around for Xbox 360 original modern warfare lobbies.

just to add to the "offline vs online" debate (specifically "this mode is made for online"), the associate producer of Madden Ultimate Team (Jake Stein) said in an interview over the summer that 80% of the Madden Ultimate Team player base NEVER engaged in online head 2 head. That's why they devoted so much time and energy into "offline" content for a mode that many assumed was mainly "online".

anyone that doesn't believe in DDA and/or comeback logic should watch the vid of McGunski losing a BR game while up 9-1 going into the 3rd. He was 11-0 as well. If a top 10 player can't overcome it there is absolutely no hope for the other 99% of us when it kicks in.

They are also very aggressive in taking back territory. I’ve always enjoyed conquest, at least playing the games. The territory sim part has been stale for years. It just feels like a time sink to ensure you put “x” hours in. Now it is even more monotonous. Conquest truly needs an overhaul.

Agree with everything you said except the disrespect for Third Leg Craig LOL. He was on my bench the entire year. Top tier base stealer with catcher as a secondary? Yes please!

The problem is the lower levels. If I play a game on veteran it’s a toss up if I go into the third at 0-0 or 1-0 or 10-0. If I play on all star I’m always bunting to get out by the 2nd inning. Veteran showdown, conquest, and moments are just terrible. Has been for a couple of years.

There’s a glitch in the 12-0 pack that if you go 12-0 and do not go back into BR you can hold the pack until the next season and it will have the new cards. If you enter the BR menu before it won’t work.
