Like fully half of the challenges are straight up broken.

Same happened to me just now. Boss pitcher, chose hit a double or better for 3 tokens and equipment pack. Hit a double, nothing, challenge failed after next batter strikes out (while I'm on second). When I get the boss challenge that DOESN'T include the equipment pack (3 tokens + 60 pts) that one works.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN this is not new. Fully half the challenges are just straight up broken, a lot of the pitcher ones too, and practically all of the challenges that say they award perks are broken. For something so integral to the game mode, you'd expect them to work. Someone on your team for sure needs to go through these challenges one by one and fix them.

I personally like the commentary. I think it's just, you know, opinion.

Also I get it wanting brand new commentary every game, but that's just unrealistic.

Nope. None of my players are getting them anymore.

What position are you playing, and for what team? Those three times you restarted, was it the same position for the same team?

I ask because, generally, the game isn't going to promote you based on how well you perform, but according to your rating. If the person you would be replacing in MLB/AAA has a higher rating than you, you probably won't jump the roster. I've had it happen a few times, but I was always fairly close to the overall of the other player, maybe +/- 3 points. When it's close like that, it does seem like the game, at that point, begins to take your performance into consideration. I've started 6 position player careers now and not once played a full season in AA. The only time I did was when playing a closer.

All that to say, hey, it could very well be a bug, but I suspect you're playing for the same team at the same position each time you've restarted.

Imagine how many people are out there that ran into this same problem but didn't bother to go to twitter or the forums to complain about it and just gave up. I hope you guys have found the issue.

Pop flies aren't classed as 'impact plays.' You need to switch from 'impact plays' to 'my plays' to see pop flies on a shortstop- mind you this also adds things like having to go to 2B for steal attempts, and some other minor fielding plays.

This is exactly what I've been talking about in this thread and others. Every outfield position suffers from this. Again, if you want to make it playable, switch 'impact plays' to 'my plays' and that will give you a tiny bit of variety- mostly just fly balls and the occasional throw to third or home.
