If hitting a ball up the middle is "perfect", then being early should be a good thing. In real baseball, being early is good. Most homeruns are pulled. One of the most annoying things on this forum is ppl complaining about early swing outcomes. Early is good, perfect is good, late is usually bad. Just like irl. Yall are getting hung up on the word "perfect." If you have to be at work at 5:30, early is good, 5:30 is perfect, 5:31 is just late. You dont get punished for coming in at 5:25 lol

That's a win for the rays

When I gave the game to my sons, the first and only rule I gave them was not to f with DJ airhorn if they go online. I'm not raising a couple d bags.

The p2p connections is the thing that needs to be fixed

The ones that stand out as bad to me are the face of the franchise cards. Those are ugly. But the rest are good
-
Finest Cronenworth is super cheap and really good
-
Bregman is definitely worth getting, he'll be the 1st or 2nd best L-handed pinch hitter in the game, him and Ted Williams. It's going to be a super rare card, I can't imagine anyone selling, especially since there's nothing else to buy.
Hes right handed

I think most use zone

Its refreshing when you play someone who has created nice uniforms.
-
Dibble rhp and Crochet lhp are reasonably priced and good. Do a run it back showdown or a conquest and use the stubs on one of them
-
Lol Collin where you at

So apparently, you can do this. Literally did not know this until today. Don’t spend a lot of time on the vault. Well, I’m an idiot. Merry Xmas all!!!
Is there a lot in the vault? I've never thought to look. Working on a starting pitcher cap. Want to make him Fernando Valenzuela or Doc Gooden

I'd move Soto to the bench, Cobb in LF, Griffey in CF, and Mays in RF. Just think of you bench Griffey, you'll have a bad fielder in LF and a weak arm in CF or wherever you play Cobb

@The_Canuckler said in What to do about Willie Mays:
Mays - CF
Griffey - RF
Soto - LFCobb pinch runner
Mays will make up for any defensive shortcomings of Soto in left field and Soto’s defense isn’t as bad as people think
I was trying to keep Cobb in there bc he hits well with him. Who knows, I've seen some people on here complain about May's swing. You may end up going back to your current set up @MarinerMatt01

Best SPs are Paxton and Seaver.
Sure, you can name two good pitchers. But... What would the best FIELD be? I'm sure you don't have an opinion on that. Because... How could there even be a "best field". There's no such thing.
inhales deeply
DATE PALM FIELD BEST FIELD
exhales
I promise this is the last time I'll ask you this this game cycle.
P.S. I've read on the Dark Web that Date Palm field will not be available in MLB 21.
I'd move to Green Valley.
Green Valley Field Worst Field

83s are the ticket. Just bought 24 Duvalls for about 1200 a piece. There are probably much cheaper ways, but this way is quick. The TA4 showdown is super easy too, so I would do that and complete the conquest map while you wait on orders to fill

Yeah, I played in HS. I get that pulling outside pitches isn't ideal. But, since I dont see a lot of good exit velocities on that type of input, I dont think that is what everyone is complaining about. They are complaining about people pulling fastballs that are middle-in or up and in.

Grove is awesome. Lamet is cheap and imo the second best finest sp behind DeGrom. In fact his repitoire is very similar to DeGrom. You can basically have two DeGroms

What about 4:00?
I mean sure. If you get promoted, are you coworkers going to be like,"I dont get why Jack got promoted, he always comes in too early. I come in perfect at 5:30 everyday... If HR doesn't fix this I'm going to quit"

Mike Trout consistently pulls outside heaters for homers.
Yeah. There are some players that do. Trout does bc he is incredibly strong. Tatis does because he dives over the plate to get to them. Yordon Alvarez is also really strong and has long arms. He can pull a pitch in any location. I dont have a problem with good early swing outcomes
