Greetings. Why are there two different profiles? I have not established a new profile since first playing in about June of 22?

So in addition to everything else going on, accounts are duplicating in some way. Maybe this is just for us Switch users. Maybe it has deeper ties to other issues. But I’m posting this not from the app but from the web. All my info is correct as it is in the game. But posting from here it shows this as a different profile than if I play from in the app.

@wingspan Physical cartridge and can’t get past first screen of DD. Once you try to launch the first moment on the tutorial it crashes. So you can’t even advance beyond the tutorial. As of 1 min ago, still an ongoing issue.

@DugoutDirtbags I have a physical cartridge which I purchased on launch day so doesn’t seem to have to do with when or which version

No fix which likely means another entire day because they usually announce an update will happen overnight if they find one. Really hope if they do they just push it immediately. What a frustrating launch

About 30 min ago still no fix. March to October is about the only option I can play

I guess I should correct myself. There is a note on the DD board as of about 12 hours ago. Nothing resolved yet but at least it’s noted

@jpreziuso Saw this as well. Nothing functional as of yet. And yes, that is one of the most frustrating things is that there’s just never an acknowledgment that anything is wrong. So there’s also really no way to know when something has been fixed unless you just keep trying and trying

To add to the fun I just tried to see the shop in the companion app and it says oh you need to finish the the in game tutorial before you can do anything here

@SuperKian5 I sincerely hope there can’t be an issue this big on launch day that is ignored. Last year switch users dealt with this for a week and it was never even acknowledged

@banicity809 This is the issue I have. After 2.5 hours to download even with the cartridge copy, got into DD and get this error on the first mission. Can’t move past it. Yay Launch Day!

Set 6 reward path results in a ton of duplicate cards if you progressed through most of the previous sets. This is nice because even if they don’t bring top dollar you can quick sell some for 10,000 and at least utilize that in some other way. But for some odd reason some of the set 4 and 5 bosses can’t be sold. I’m not sure what the logic is here especially as the game is reaching its end. They’re essentially just a page we now have to stroll through in our duplicate inventory to get to the cards we can actually sell. I have Anthony Volpe’s finest card. It’s a good card. Thank you SDS. Now can I get rid of the other 4? These cards aren’t even eligible to exchange in any programs

So a fix has just been announced. And apparently it’s ready so SDS will be rolling it out right no…. Oh no. We’re just gonna hold off for 7 hours? Cause if you fixed the issue, why wouldn’t you just wait for 7 hours instead of releasing the update right now?? I simply don’t get the logic sometimes

Going on (and beyond) 5 full days now. This is wild. This wouldn’t be so bad if it was not compounded with the pointless need to be connected to operate 100% of DD when there is no reason to require this for anything other than online modes. I don’t think a lot of players realize this means right now you can basically play RTTS but you can’t get any packs or anything, March to October but it won’t count for anything because it will say it can’t authenticate and franchise which means nothing in DD. We keep getting notifications about post season programs and even weekly challenges that can’t be accessed. The Switch users must mean absolutely 00 to SDS. It seems like we’re going to get to the World Series and then be starting wild card round programs by the time this is fixed.

Dhigo seems good I just finally got him. But as someone who isn’t thy great At Ranked, basically every team I ever play has Adley. Far more often than Acuna even which I think has to do with options at the position

Henderson might make my bench, but yah i agree these are lackluster. Then again maybe thats just because of the card design. At least Henderson is throwing a baseball.

The art is somewhat baffling. Like it’s a baseball game and generally baseball fans collected baseball cards of baseball players. I never wanted a baseball card because a player I liked was a pop culture figure.

I was pleasantly surprised by how many cards the Tigers had for a theme team through set 2. In set 3 however they only got the cards every team gets (TA, ASG) so the theme team will be half LS at the start of set 4.

If theme teams are a focus as they've claimed then they have to release a ton of cards for every team, not just a select few.

Actually, if they intend to continue with sets/seasons, they need to expand the legend pool by a lot so you don't end up with a new Griffey, Trout, etc. every season. Hell, they're on pace for 7-8 Kyle Schwarbers by year's end which is nuts. Nobody wants that.

I think expanding the legend and all past players needs to happen for theme teams. Just do a this day in Baseball history set then hey anybody becomes a 99 and next year you can probably find a ton of different players that weren’t even used this year. Here in SD we loved Khalil Greene even though his career stats aren’t impressive. Find a day he did something big in history and hey you’ve got another great card. As a Braves fan give me 99 Francisco Cabrera who’s irrelevant in much of baseball but on October 14, 1992 he drove in Sid Bream so hey there’s a great theme team DH
