    So I'll finally be able to enjoy all 3 top rated cards online for maybe 2-3 weeks, tops, before the new season comes...

    The average person may not even get to 1 mil by the time season 1 is done.

    Oh, it's cute you mention getting 10k for getting to 70 card Franco.

    No xp, just a juiced up fairly decent Aurilia card that I won't even use, except against lefties on my bench..
    I'd rather have the option of trading that card for 10k more xp and maybe 5k stubs.
    They purposely chose not to give xp there. And purposely decided not to reward us with stubs, unlike what they used to give is in the past.
    This team is more Greedy and scummy. Maybe not the actual game developers, but the greedy scummy corporate ppl that have a say in what they can actually give us.
    This needs to change before it gets worse.

    Check the xp path. See how much stubs u actually earn by the time u reach 400k.
    1k stubs at 20k xp
    1k stubs at 75k xp
    1k stubs at 115k xp
    2k stubs at 240k xp
    2k stubs at 360k xp
    That's (((7k))) stubs total which will take the average person at least 2-3 weeks to grind.
    That's not even enough to buy a guy like Zach Wheeler, and he sucks online, lol.

    Please don't defend this company and try looking at the bright side.

    This fk'ed up greedy scummy shyte was perfectly planned out in hopes that the average person would run to the store and buy stubs to either gamble or buy their team.

    Sup fellas and ladies!

    I'd like to get some feedback from the community on an observation I've noticed over the years.

    I just opened a standard pack and saw a pretty shiny diamond at the end. I open it and out pops my boy Kershaw.
    Now, I had no clue what his price was. I immediately figured hmm ok he's probably like 8k or so. But no, he is literally selling for ((((((((3700 STUBS)))))))
    Now, that's good if you're doing collections. However, it's not good for the market..

    Pulling a diamond from a standard pack is 1 in 50 packs that cost an absurd 1500 per pack which used to be 1000. So it's not an easy pull.

    Let's do some fun math! Cuz math is fuuun!

    Diamonds = 1 in 50
    Golds = 1 in 10.

    If I bought 10 packs at 1500 per, that would = 15,000 stubs!
    If u pull 1 gold, there's a 70% chance that gold will sell for 400.
    Back in the day, golds quick sold for 1k. Now SDS sneakily and scummily <--- that's not even a word, reduced the quick sell value a cpl years back.

    If I pull a diamond, and it's Kershaw, and two golds that go for 400 each, I'm only making Back 4500 before tax, and add maybe another 2k from trash. That's 6500 when I spent 15,000 stubs on 10 packs!

    SDS, diamonds need to be higher in price. They should be set at no less than at least 5k quick sell, if not 7500 or even 10k.
    Golds should be at least 1k quick sell value, silvers set to maybe 250 at least.

    Also, packs need to go back to 1k. But at this rate and during this market community, they should literally be 500 just based on the odds of profiting or even getting close to your money back when pulling a diamond!

    In case you're curious, I have not actually purchased 1 pack from the store. All the packs were earned. I'm just using simple math and odds of probability compared to overall risk vs reward for those who do spend stubs or rl money on packs.

    It's gotten so much worse. This is one reason why the market is lower than ever. The average person does not even have 20k stubs..

    On a side note, let's talk about xp path and collections. For 340k xp, you chose to bless us with (((((2000 FK'N STUBS!!!))))) WTF IS THAT GARBAGE??!! Something that would take the average casuam person at least 3 full weeks to get to. How about increasing that number to 10k ffs! 2k?? Really? Lol

    Rich Aurillia is the new collection reward at 130 cards! Nice! His card is meh ok. But where is the xp and stubs?? Nothing! In years past, we'd get like 10k-20k stubs and up to what 25-50k xp for reaching these milestones.

    The rewards need to be better!
    Packs should be cheaper!
    Quick sell or overall value of diamonds need to be increased!
    More XP needs to be included when reaching milestones!
    More stubs should be rewarded for those who grind this game!

    It's like the team that replaced the old team are a bunch of clueless greedy amateur idiots that literally do not play this game.

    At least those on the old team actually played The Show and some were actually good at the game.

    Things need to change.

    I was thinking the same thing. They increased the TA xp, which is nice. However, everything else just went backwards.

    It's more tedious, games take longer to play due to the cpu pitching like a drunk and hungover Wild Thing, and less vouchers being rewarded.
    Last year wasn't perfect, but it was more rewarding and better.
    I havent jumped into Mini Seasons yet, but last yr u only had to play like 8 games I believe to make the playoffs?
    It was actually not horribly bad throwing a team together, and to try cards out to see if they'll make your online dd squad.

    Right now, I'm gonna suffer through all the ta conquest to get better players to throw them in my lineup to play mini seasons just to try knocking these out. I'm sure it will take longer than last year, which sucks.


  • Daily XP cap?

    Imagine playing an RPG game that has a xp cap after a few hours of grinding.
    Then the company/community literally tells you to focus on having fun Instead of progressing by grinding xp.

    Now, you're level 8 in the rpg, and the first dungeon requirement is level 10. The only thing you can do now is kill bunnies without earning anymore xp.. Who would waste their time?

    Point is, when the ability to progress through the main xp path is capped, I will not play the game for the day. There's zero point grinding without earning xp.
    Of course u still can knock out TA, Conquest, do br runs, events, and play ranked, but why would you want to grind those modes for hours if your xp is already capped.

    IT MAKES ZERO LOGICAL SENSE AS A GAMER, PERIOD!

    Right!!! I almost submitted a ticket to SDS to complain about this. There are too many balls vs strike ratio. I even started playing conquest games on HOF. The ball to strike ratio is hilariously and embarrassingly too High!

    On average, the cpu throws 70% balls to 30% strikes. In rl, if any mlb pitcher matched this ratio, they would not be in the majors...

    This needs to change to more of a 70-75% to 30-25% strike to ball ratio.


  • How to complete Team Affinity faster!

    So far, I managed to complete NL East and AL West pretty quickly.

    Obviously the first steps is to get to the first boss pick by doing the moments and Showdown first.
    Next, I'd stack your lineup with one or two teams from that division to build up ta points faster.
    Go and play the CPU on rookie in short high elevated stadiums.

    Get to the first boss pick and select Closing Pitcher WAGNER first for NL East. And either Iglesias or Leclerc for the AL West.

    Go do the Conquest for those Team Affinity divisions. Have those pitchers start and pitch 3 innings for each conquest game. Doing so will automatically get you 10,000 points each game under "single player missions."
    It is repeatable.

    You could also do this on ranked. All u need to do is pitch 2 innings for 15,000 points.

    And make sure you stack your team with the division you're doing.

    The team missions are repeatable.
    Once u hit 60k ta xp, the rest only takes like 8 conquest games max to do.

    Some team affinities don't have this option. But they have a pitcher option. The ones with 9 ip, I suggest going to play vs cpu and pitch that pitcher a full game on rookie.

    This should help knock out TA quicker


  • ENOUGH WILDCARDS/SEASON ELIGIBILITY!

    Personally, I don't enjoy paying for a product that restricts me on what I'm able to do. I don't like how a company wants me to play the way someone else enjoys to play.
    This mode is basically an Ultimate team mode similar to Madden, Hockey, Fifa, and basketball. The devs should not have a right to cap xp, structure cards to be elligible only for certain times of the year, or tell me how I should play.

    If there was another baseball game that had an ultimate team mode with unlimited possibilities and no outside interference from the devs, I'd play that in a heartbeat.

    Seasons is stupid, Xp cap should be illegal, meter pitching is 50% accurate, "had to throw that in there" and all these micro managing from a gaming dev team is absurd.

    But I gotta just suck it up and try to enjoy the game.


  • The broken CPU pitching is making me already bored of the game

    Here's some tips. Use some hitters with the bad ball hitting quirk. You'll be surprised at how well they hit.

    Take the first couple pitches unless they're meatballs down the middle.

    Take your walks. More men on base = more run opportunities.

    Stop playing on rookie. It's by far the worse.
    Play on veteran or allstar.
    If veteran is too difficult, go practice on allstar for 15 minutes, then go play games on veteran. I guarantee you will see the ball better and will get better results.

    I'll be as honest as I can. Here goes
    Pro's:

    1. Manual Fielding animations while throwing and getting to the ball feel better than ever.
    2. Cornerstone Captains is literally a work of fk'n genius! Whoever created and implemented this, deserves a raise and a kiss on their shiny round head!
    3. Storyline modes were very interesting and fun. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. The cards are dog shyte, but the overall experience was a blast!
    4. Getting Perfect/Perfects seem more rewarding this year. I'm averaging 2 outs per every 10 P/P's with pretty much a 80% hit rate, unlike how bad last year hit to out ratio was
    5. The addition of the new parks put a little creepy smile on my face!

    Cons:

    1. Pitching accuracy is worse than in previous years. Especially if u use meter. I'm at a 65/35% accuracy on perfect releases. That's BAD!
    2. Check swings are worse than ever. Umps say I go when the replay clearly shows I went 15%. And check swing called strikes when I clearly did not go are annoying when called.
    3. CPU fielding animations can sometimes be good, and other times be very bad. Bottom, who won multiple gold gloves, literally fell over like a dead tree when diving for a 75mph ball 2 feet away from him. Also, the 12 year old little league special needs BAD reactions need to be removed. Or set to with fielders under 50 reactions. Also, fielding stats in general need to be raised. These guys are major leaguers. They aren't a bunch of uncoordinated tards out there.
    4. Many hitter and pitcher attributes/stats couldn't be more incorrect and low in regards to what diamond and gold number stats indicate. It's like the devs failed 1st grade math.
    5. XP Cap should be removed. XP reward path need better more lucrative rewards! It took 2 weeks to reach 340k xp and SDS rewards me with a lousy (((2000))) stubs?! Brother, wtf is that garbage? At least raise it to 10k! And, more XP should be added! At this rate, by the time I reach 1 mil, I may not even care anymore. That's a problem!
    6. Give us more content to earn stubs, xp, and rewards. I grinded everything relatively casually. And that's it. My progress is pretty much over. If I want to earn stubs now, I must do several BR runs. Give us more to grind, more rewards to grind for, more xp and stubs to earn, etc. Right now is just not enough.
    7. Stop trying to be like EA. Not allowing us to earn one Season Award pack to help grind the program was very scummy. DO NOT repeat this scumbag Dhick move!
      Also, if you're going to drop 30-40k packs, at least make the cards top tier meta cards, lol. Most are mid and meh at best. It's not even worth the gamble.

    Overall, I'm still playing the game mainly bc I love Baseball and the gameplay itself is actually fun. As for most of my cons I mentioned, I hope SDS addresses these things moving forward.
    They have no idea how many ppl I help influence to buy this game each year.

    I haven't lost 1 game against the cpu on allstar, and I've played like I dunno 60 games?

    Allstar against the computer to me is like playing on rookie.

    They phucked with fielding/reactions again. It was like this last yr until they patched it. Any fielder with fielding under 75 and reactions literally under 80, they will react with a bad jump. Kinda resembles really bad little leaguers that can't read the ball off the bat right away.

    Try using better outfielders with good fielding and reactions. Dylan Crews is free and is the best outfielder I use in CF. He rarely reacts bad, buy even he does at times.

    It's definitely a feature not working as intended. Most of the pitches have a late release almost every time. This needs to be looked I to and fixed soon. Until then, we have to suffer. Luckily my grind is almost done.

    Here's something SDS needs to fix. Player reactions are bad again. Diamond Buxton always takes a special needs step before recovering. I know his reactions are a little low, but he's a diamond fielder.
    This needs to be adjusted.
