Did the CPU pichers all lose their sight?
-
Ok I been playing this since early access. I swear I could probably sit here and let them walk me in wins all day. It's like they have the pitcher control and strikes at 0. My screen looks like a blind man throwing darts at a dartboard. I got plunked 3 times in one game in a row and they walked the 4th guy! I seen people mentioning this and YET it is not fixed. THIS is a simple slider issue. Is everyone getting like 85% balls and not even CLOSE to the zone. This should have been fixed days ago!

It's definitely a feature not working as intended. Most of the pitches have a late release almost every time. This needs to be looked I to and fixed soon. Until then, we have to suffer. Luckily my grind is almost done.

Something definitely is broken. Every single CPU pitch timing is “Very Late” no matter what. Same if you use classic pitching style, every pitch is also “Very Late”.

Why don’t they throw out the sliders and have the cards plat the levels they’ve given them?
I don’t mind all the balls out of the zone because it’s helping my patience at the plate, but it is somewhat annoying that the cpu pitchers are ignoring the strikezone 90% of the time.

What kills me is there was an issue with their precious pvp and that got fixed immediately. But this and the complaints about the xp are just completely ignored. If they could fix pvp so quick they could fix this just as quick but that kinda of service is reserved for pvp.

Online play has had a major bug that took them most of last season to fix pop back up again in Battle Royale, and Co Op is a mess.
I would think the late release bug is a quick fix, but I don't make baseball games for a living. At least now people are posting the actual issue more. Saying '99.9% of CPU pitches have very late release' is better than saying 'CPU walks too many people', although really this bug should have never made it in the game in the first place
As for the xp thing its too early to tell to what degree it needs to be changed, if at all. Its not meant to be completed in a couple weeks but if it impacts enough people than some kind of change should be looked at, but I think its too early for all of that especially as we havent had post release programs or weekly wonders come out yet

In the streams, they said people would not get to the bosses for a few weeks. This seems like their only strategy for this goal. I don’t expect them to change the XP issue just because people are complaining they can’t get to the bosses quickly so they can sell them. They’ve had XP caps every year, so this shouldn’t be a surprise considering their remarks in the stream.
I can understand them having less strikes on Rookie. It only hinders player skill development to have every ball down the middle. What doesn’t make sense is how they are doing it. They could easily remove the sliders and have the CPU cards play to their attributes. There would probably be more strikes and less players beaned, but still enough variety in the pitches to help players get better.
