@dfwrazorback_MLBTS like perhaps spend more time playing another game like I am now, with another game or two on the back burner. This year's game isn't only bad....it's REALLY BAD. The addition of mini season and pxp doesn't negate everything else bad about the game. The list is long and now even some of their supporters are starting to turn away. I miss the three or four hours a day or all day grinds on my days off but if sds is dead set on chasing me to other games....chase away!

I'm very close to that point as well. More to the game being collection heavy, very laggy menus, massive server issues that are kinda unacceptable by this point. But most importantly, the game just isn't as fun as it use to be. Just isn't as enjoyable. I don't feel the need to play it as much. I almost got 400 hours in right now. In past versions by this point I would have 600-700 hours in. I'd get a few hours in after and before work in past versions, this year I'm okay with not playing for a day or two. I have another game to turn too if I get pissed about the game or the server problems. Plus I'm sure how bad it plays on the switch this year plays a role as well. I think they really dropped the ball this year.. not sure if it was the added additions of bear downs or whatever...just a down year for the game this year in my opinion.

I'm already playing tear-off the kingdom way more than mlb 26. I don't even fret whether I get a game in every day, I don't grind to finish inning program. It all points to a negative sign. And not constant server issues. Without a doubt ita my last version.....I can enjoy retro games way more. Now atleast I see why there exists only one team affinity....to sells stubs to purchase all collections.. .just isn't worth it anymore

Isn't it very interesting to having inning rewards for the same team so say Yankee diehard fans would never put either in their lineup even if Clemens was a yank, so they feel I a waste of even trying for the rewards. It seems like this year's theme is really really awful. I didn't even try last inning....no go getters this inning either. So I'm wondering what is the point other than selling the card which the price bottoms out by the time you finish the program
-
If they do address it and by the time they do other games will be pulling people way, some games already have because the feeling is the time you put into it isn't rewarding you enough. If you put a full day into grinding and only accomplish 5-10% of the path fir a whole day grinding...you feel you wasted your time. Last year I mostly only played baseball, this year it fulfills 40% of my time. That is a massive drop and I'm certain I'm not the only one

I've kinda given upon the reward path....2k xp for a 9 inning game for a one month program which isn't even a whole one percent of the end goal....it just isn't worth it, it just isn't. They want you to play nonstop and I think with the decline xp over the last few years they will chase people away. It's like they promote so much pre game and drop the ball after release. And goals of 5k here and there just don't make up for it. With the repeated conquest atleast make a repeatable 5k goal upon completion of the maps

I think this version of the game where it is nothing but collections with you earning just a few of the cards is totally driving me away from the game this year. Two years ago they pushed alot of cards through packs then dialed it down last year. And it's back this year. Not being able to do the collections makes you lose the drive to play the game. Last year I got on a few hours before and after work and played long hours on my off days. This year I might get a game or two a day, skip whole days without play and off days play very sparingly and play other games. No my player in dd, only one team affinity, repeated path od miniseasons.....just makes you lose the need to play the game plus the version on the switch is too laggy to even attempt to play, way worse than last year.
-
Oh it is WAY worse than last year. Last year I could stomach playing conquest or vs cpu, this year I barely score one run because of the lags that make your swings extremely late. Mostly lags when you are batting. On the xbox I score 4-10+ runs so it's definitely the switch this year. Crazy since I got the game to play casual conquest and vs cpu to knock out programs but it's really bad

I use to play a few hours a day and all day on my days off....nowdays I might catch a game or two and jump into another game. Normally I lose interest after the summer....just isn't rewarding as it use to which leads to you losing interest and gaining interest in another game. It's not good if I'm playing tearsof the kingdom more than a newly released baseball game

It makes your pitching better but demoralized your hitting with easy out pitches on the corner but hey that was their remedy, poor one at that. Got too use to either inside or outside pitches barely touching being called balls. Takes guts to take those pitches with two strikes now

So disappointing.....Soto Yankee card is a huge laugh....don't most Yankee fans not like him not. STILL no Jim Abbott yet.....wonder if they are going to forget him because of mechanics. Definitely won't be trying to finish this inning. I still thing they either up the rewards line they said or reduce the path a bit more.

I will be opting out next year. With the degrading status of the game with inconsistent fixes, runners still diving at first base on hits, three years running. Due to poor communication and the fact to not address issues but still push pack and stubs sale. Let's not even talk about the unrealistic collections. Due to all that and age ...I'll be pushing 50....I will be sticking to live ballgames and casual games I can enjoy playing stress-free. Video games release stress not cause it.

I love how we went from a 7500 reward in the wheel spin to 2500 stubs....that paired with card order limits, very limited market flipping, they so are pushing towards stub purchases, just so sad. Especially for the younger fans who can't use a credit card like they pushed with the original stream. Just seems my favorite in 16 and 17 it's just lost its appeal

I think the bosses are only attainable for most of fanbase if they decide to have triple xp which they have done before, up til next inning program. Of you have quite a number of people 100-200k from boss, that ISN'T good for the game. I would have got Babe if I hadn't been for two months from work due to injury and if the same happens I'll sparingly play. I play maybe two games a day, maybe. I've dipped in Tear of the kingdom, and if this trend continues I'm likely to step away from the game which last year was first time I played all year

Logo disparity is now in cpu games, what a fix, so instead of conquest games it's in regular games. And what's with the Orioles love....you have a mix of your logo and Orioles and in diamond quest you have a oriole lineup that pops up in some games. Makes you wonder how much do they test these fixes
-
I had assumed there would be a program post event however it's not on the calendar. I wonder if it's because it doesn't involve key teams with key players. Hardly any big names foe both teams besides Tatis.

The only reason I've finished the first two innings is because I've been out of work due to hernia surgery. No way I'll get to keep up the pace when I return to work next month. There just isn't enough xp to attain the rewards which I believe last year the reduce it after the first inning or two because not enough of the fanbase were reaching the end goal. No double xp or pxp yet either. It's just a bad sign where the game is heading
-
The math says that a single vs cpu 9 inning game is 1600 xp up to maybe 3000 if it's a blow out game. So basically 2-3% of a 100k path, it is a 500k path. So that us less than one percent....less than half a percent for one single game for a month long program. There is something serious wrong with that even with the various xp goals throughout the game. It just feels like the game isn't rewarding you for how much time you put in it. The xp has gradually been reduced over the years and it's the xp goals they have been focused on. It is the state of the game now sadly

Funny how march to October had a path for rewards but not the special inclusion they want to educate the fan base with. But it's hard to want to use cards that have no goals or rewards tied to them.

SDS we seriously need a Negro League team affinity so when we use those players their stats aren't completely wasted. I rather use Campanela at catcher but if his stats don't count why use him instead of a dodgers or mariners catcher who stats work with the team affinity goals. Same with pitchers and position players. Kinda pointless using players who stats doesn't work with goals and rewards. And if those players are part of the game why not include them in team affinity
June countdown yikes
Just deleted the game
Thank You SDS for changing my mind
