Several users on the forums have been complaining since launch about the outdated faces for many Red Sox players. I appreciate the team finally updating Garrett Crochet and Carlos Narvaez or at least attempting to. However, both face updates are lackluster to say the least. Crochet’s face is just the old face with a beard pasted over it. The face scan is clearly not accurate. The situation with Narvaez is even more bizarre as he now has a face that actually looks LESS accurate than before. What is the deal here? Is Ridindownkingsley doing these updates? They are extremely low quality and it should be looked in to. Just use players from the vault if you’re going to phone it in like this. At least then we can edit the player models ourselves and actually get player name audio that already exists in the game. What a freaking disappointment!

Totally understandable that not every player likeness can be added as appearances change, but it would be nice to have player name audio added for created players when it already exists in the game. For example, Garrett is available as first name audio. However, Crochet is not available for last name audio despite Sciambi having recorded Garrett Crochet’s full name. I think it would be nice to create my own likenesses with audio of some players who haven’t been updated for a long while.

They can come out and make a statement on a variety of other topics, but not this for some reason. It’s totally bogus. I want my money back for the MVP edition.

I agree 100% this is just flat out unacceptable from a consumer point of view. SDS advertised equipment that is not present in the game. They should offer complete refunds.

SDS is doing that whole thing again where they refuse to address it. Not like they advertised with the missing equipment in the trailers or anything…

They went through all of the trouble to update equipment in '21 just to remove it for '22. Like the Lindor cleats. '22 launched in early access with maybe half the equipment of '21.

Beyond frustrated at this point with Nike and Jordan catcher gear being removed. SDS hasn't responded to the posts about it so far. It will clearly require another patch to resolve. Who knows why it has been left out at this point.

It would be really great if we could just get an update on when to expect the rest of the equipment to be patched in. Really sucks missing the Nike catchers equipment.
