I really doubt there's shareholder pressure of any kind w/r/t this game. It's made by a small studio that's owned by a division (playstation studios) of a subsidiary (Sony Interactive) of a massive conglomerate (Sony). Neither the game or SDS is even mentioned in Sony's annual report to shareholders. They're probably focusing on what the data shows is played the most, which is probably shorter game modes that don't require the kind of time investment that hardcore and longtime players might be more interested in. Same story throughout the industry.

Doing this now, and I stay in as long as Ross is pitching and I’m making progress because I can actually homer off him. Or if I’m down to 1 or 2 bases by the time someone else comes in.
Like if you think the games is just going to be copy and paste + 90 bucks for roster updates?
