Is there a timeline when we will actually see this game based off actual physics and not player ratings? It’s 2021 and physics engines have been out for over a decade now (euphoria). All the data is available these days, so why not use it to make a realistic game? We basically get the same game every year with minor tweaks. We don’t even have collision detection between players in this game. This is basic stuff. Everything is captured on video, it’s just data input. We know how fast someone runs, throws, swings a bat etc. Im no expert on hardware, but I imagine this could be done on these new consoles. It’s 2021, player ratings should be a thing of the past.

I’m loving the game so far.

Let’s not ignore the fact this is 2021 and there is still no collision detection in this game.

The game has seen some quality improvements this year especially in the presentation department. I hope you guys continue to expand on this in the future. As far as pitching, hitting and fielding go, keep striving towards realistic gameplay.

They are definitely going to lose RTTS customers after what they decided to do.

I love them, hope they add more to the presentation next year.

Why would anyone try and change your mind? If you don’t like it, don’t play. That’s all that matters, not what we think.

How about a new physics engine. You know, maybe we can get collision detection. Maybe they can start representing time, distance and velocity properly. That would fix them from having to use bandaids such as pulling the 1st baseman off the bag with a ball hit to right field because they can’t represent time, distance and velocity properly.

They got political last year. They threw it everyone’s face on the game and the forum. What you talking bout Willis.

Last years was political, we all know why they did it and nobody blames them for sharing their stance on it. Not going down that rabbit hole, but this is quite a bit different since this is just celebrating the man who changed the game, and thats Jackie Robinson.

Sharing their stance? You do know the political group they backed is anti-America right? Do a little research and you will see what they really stand for and it’s not about their t-shirt slogans either.

Don’t let this distract you from the fact this game still doesn’t have collision detection.

I see these sports game makers going away from online franchise to force the users to play the team building modes that generate more revenue. Most of them have already done it. If anything ever gets left out, it’s always that.

I can’t imagine all the crystal you just went through.

I tried to tell y’all not to get your hopes up. The game is not “next gen.” It’s a port. It will not be “next gen” until they have a version just for the new consoles. I don’t know how any of you expected any different when they announced cross-gen play.

Kenny Powers and Billy Chapel. Both are pitching exceptionally well for me.

I don’t want my money back, I just want to be compensated for a product that is not working correctly as advertised.

5 second timer between pitches seems a bit excessive. Also not everyone wants to sit there and take over an hour for a game so try to understand why people try not to take long between pitches? You can't ask people to try and understand your side without extending the same courtesy

Then live with R2 holding. I’m not going to let someone throw 10 pitches in 3 seconds like it’s a machine gun. If you don’t want a timer, R2 is the best way to make both sides happy.

Maybe learn how to win a game without cheating? You might find it actually feels good.

I hold it every time and will continue to do so. I am not going to let you quick pitch me. If you want to get rid of holding R2, I would be perfectly fine with a 5 sec timer in between pitches. Until that happens, you should try and understand why people do it.
