same here, can't add a 4th pitch and I am in my 4th season, but went back to 2020 and no problems there

Best thing about the RTTS to me is that I am back to 2020 RTTS which lets me do whatever I want with no issues.

The con is "choice" SDS obviously knows more than we do about how we want to play the game.....It is ONLY about money to SDS....They have BS'd us with their "immersion" so they can try to get more money out of the RTTS group.....They will blow smoke up our butts to say they want to make it better for us, but in the end it is only about the money.

in the bullpen training you can change the pitches, but I still haven't been able to add a 4th pitch.

NHL 21 ruined Be A Pro also...No more playing in the minors developing the way you want.....Everyone is a superstar in Be A Pro now....so i went back to NHL 20 to play the game the way I want. The in game [censored] is stupid also....I am on a line with Anze Kopitar and the coach calls me the rookie to the bench to save the day. Calling BS on that (laughing)

I have gone back to MLB 20 to play RTTS the way I want to play it. We are sadly mistaken to think that SDS cares about what we think...All they want is our money, which they got from me for years buying packs to get equipment for my RTTS player.....But the normal RTTS player doesn't invest in stubs...so SDS took the money grab to get us to pay also by combining with DD.....They made a huge mistake. But do you think they will say that? They have corporate meetings telling each other how they know what WE want to maximize their profits......Companies can care less what their customers want, they just want their money.

I am so disappointed with this years version I am back playing 2020, and very happy with it. I control my players not SDS and their "immersion" BS.

can I ask how you got your "ballplayer" to get 5 pitches....I check Bullpen every training chance and there is never anything for me to even get the 4th pitch.

Other than not being able to make a catcher, I love the new RTTS. I have my Ballplayer at 99 OVR with 115 contact from both sides, 123 power from both sides, 95 speed, 90 arm, in the 80's for other fielding stats, and like 63 stealing. Of course attaining high stats means nothing if you do not like how progression works in RTTS. I happen to like it though.

I actually don't mind how the games progresses you in RTTS, but what kills it for me is that you can't start a new 18 yr old player out of school with the minimum attributes. In MLB 2020 I had a lot of different builds for different positions that had their own development, not development inherited from the previous player that I had made.

I see. Ya, now instead of leveling up your stats they stay leveled and you level up a new program for a different position.

Exactly. I actually broke out MLB 20 again last night....and [censored] is that a great game for RTTS still.....You control your players and how they develop.....SDS is stupid for changing that...but of course they know what their customers want and what they want (our money) so sure, change everything.

I am in my second season...and every training day I go to Bullpen to see about a 4th pitch.....I can always change my 3 pitches I have, but I never get a chance to get a fourth pitch.....Is this broken too?

completely agree with you. I want RTTS players to start as 18 yr old green rookies who have to develop...not have superhuman attributes because of previous players....

I bought NHL 21 yesterday (bought on PS Store as my local store doesn't have it)...They ruined Be a Pro mode there also....no more Junior hockey leagues to play in to develop a 15 yr old till 18....you enter the league as a superstar....that isn't being a pro...maybe 1% of the league are superstars.....sometimes you just grind out a career on a few teams...that is what I liked about BaP in NHL...Now that is ruined just like The Show RTTS.

Just went to get NHL21 at my game store here in town....They don't have it.....can't complain I live in Asia and most people don't even know what hockey is (laughing)

Thank you for the reply Darkblue, I have plenty of games to play. I see already that I am forced to play DD for the progress of my archtype as staying in RTTS takes forever to progress....I have loved the Show for the last 7 yrs but this is their loss as I have spent a ton of money buying packs to pull equipment for all my saved players in RTTS up till this year. They have completely ruined RTTS with the carry over of attribute to newly created players. 18 yrs old and 81 rated? sure not a problem.....a company of dumbazzes going for the quick money grab with RTTS players.

if I would have known how much RTTS would be changed I wouldn't have bought this and stuck with 20.
