So basically what I've decided to do is create an new account. Mid season, with restrictions. I can't buy or sell on the marketplace, no money allowed, no offline grinding. It's all online and the only way I can get new rewards is packs or XP gained from playing Ranked, Events, BR.

It's so much fun because all these cards I would scoff at mean so much to the account. Like Johnny Cueto for example carried me through the events to get Correa, a monumental piece for the team. It's just so much more fun not taking anything for granted and being so barebones.

For the last couple of years, I’ve made a second account where I don’t allow myself to use meta cards or any card that cost more than 30k. It’s crazy, I always have more fun and play more on the second account. Last year I made ws for the first time with a lineup of dudes like Kyle Farmer, Lars Nootbar, and Max Schrock.

Play events. If you lose the first game, at least you know you will playing someone else who lost their first one

I swear you two seem to never have played online. Most players use PCI to hit. The fact that PCI doesn't garrentee a homer is great. There has to be a balance between skill and stats of the player card and RNG. Other wise there would be no no players of a lower rating. Everyone would be 800+

I get what you’re saying, but he’s right, I think you should have to use pci above 700.

I’ll add that you can use Alonso in the event, so if you’re looking at buying one there is that

Also on a strikeout with runners going, I threw to third to try to get the runner. The pitch was middle in, the batter takes off for first like it’s a dropped third strike - everyone was safe and the announcer was talking about a dribbler on the infield

What’s up with some plate appearances getting four strikes? Happened in my favor yesterday and I was like well maybe it was a foul tip? But then in events last night, the third strike was a called strike, but the announcer called it a 2 - 2 count.

This happened with Austin Martin in Right for me yesterday.

I think if we keep complaining, they will just get rid of it. Which will be bad, I love creating logos/uniforms - it might be my favorite part of dd honestly. Using existing uniforms is boring. That’s why when I see something immature or inappropriate, I usually just ignore it

Do any of you have tips or strategies to use against opponents who are good at dotting the edges with guys like Maddux or Keuchel? I weakly ground out all game. I’m thinking next time I will just take pitches to try to get them to come up higher in the zone or at least try to get into the bull pen. I’m not complaining, just looking for tips against these types of pitchers. Unfortunately, I suck at pinpoint, so I’m still using meter, which isn’t great for me to try to pitch with these guys. Some dudes are beasts with pin point everything is just out of the zone or right on the edge. It’s incredibly difficult to square up anything

I want something big like ta3 last year.

I’m using gold Kirk. He can hit and has a huge pci, but he’s so slow lol. So I may switch to Lee.

I hit opposite homers on sliders away that I am late on and under. I used to do it on accident, but now I find myself looking for sliders to slice away lol.

I R2 and bunt dance sometimes if opponent is wasting time walking me or throwing throwing all balls. I say that just to say, most ppl dont get on looking to be annoying. If you have people do this a lot, you may be doing something to annoy your opponents

I just need them to fix the timing windows of Edward Cabrera and Fernando Valenzuela. Why is Christy Mathewsons higher rated screwball easy to hit and Fernandos impossible to time up? Same for Cabrera- why can I time up Crochets 102, but not Cabrera
