Forget stadiums, how about maybe some consistent hitting, some kind of fielding that isn't horrible and pitching where user input matters!

@SDS, can we please get offline dd modes? The only offline mode so far is still Conquest! Showdown is great but it's not MY DD team. Moments are fun as well but again, not my DD team. What are the incentives for offline players to get good cards if the only thing we can do with them is keep playing conquest over and over again?

An offline events would be great! Or a March to October type mode with our DD team playing 3 inning games against the CPU. The you can have rewards for difficulty, standings, and stats.

If you are not going to allow players to quick sell or exchange collected players, then you need to make the collection rewards better!!!

I personally feel ripped off with this decision! I have 2 young children and don't get to play very often. The only thing that helped me keep up last year was that I could user collected cards for a number of collection requirements and then quick sell or exchange when I was finished.

You just keep finding ways to try and make people purchase stubs! Especially with the virus going around now and people getting laid off and not having cash, you think you would tone down the greed a little bit!

The game was best when released on the 13th, day one. At least for hitting and fielding. Pitching hasn't changed from previous years and is still really bad with minimal user input.

Keep getting the unhandled server exception error!!!!

Anyone else having issues?

I have watched a lot of the players league games and i have not watched one game that didn't have extremely bad fielding.

There are constant messages in the chat from fans watching saying how bad the fielding is and you can see on the players faces that they are trying really hard not to say anything bad about the game!

SDS better get a patch out soon as there are a lot of people watching those matches and it is not good for business!!!

They have been promising more offline content, and there was a bit of that this year, but it didn't included our DD teams! I preorder the Digital Deluxe edition every year with the hopes of more offline DD modes, yet the only thing I can do with my DD team is conquest or play vs cpu, which they are reducing the xp to in this new patch!!! So no more Digital Deluxe Preorder for me next year. I will just pick it up used 1 month after release and save myself the heartache.

I think I’m general we all have a love for baseball and being able to play something like diamond dynasty is nice. But it’s extremet frustrating to see how fast they can fix them losing money but not gameplay

Yes my point exactly. It's really a big f-you to the user base! I am all for fixing exploits but what about fixing the broken game people paid their hard-earned money for!

From what I have seen of SDS over the years I think they are getting a bit arrogant about their game! I think at this point they will not fix it as to them it would mean admitting they messed something up! In all honesty, if it wasn't for the players league and pro players screaming that fielding is broken, I don't think fielding would have gotten any patches either!

@sds I have had the reward screen come up right when I logged into the game. I ended up with a silver reward of 5 show packs but when I went into my inventory, nothing was there. When I went back into the main program it showed that I had just gotten the 25Kxp reward as I was 1000+ xp into the next cycle. Is this a known issue?

2 additional things to look at:

1. On time timing! Too many balls going foul that are timed up in the green and in the strike zone. If you are on time on a pitch in the strike zone, it should never go foul, otherwise you would not be on time!

2. Can we tone down the superman fielding for offline play please! This was a consistent issue last year as well. Way too many bad/average fielding players making superman like plays, consistently. I get at least 3 to 4 per game and only 1 maybe 2 are from players who could potentially pull it off. The others are just super unrealistic. Additionally, I have had players missing routine ground balls that they are camped in front off way too often.

Maybe it's just me but I think the messed with hitting timing again! I consistently play on HOF and somehow I can't square anything up on "Veteran".

Agree completely. Also, why are all the program missions online? Not fair to the offline players.

Pitching is by far the worst since I started playing the game in 09.

I consistently hit my pitching markers and keep throwing meatballs. It's complete bs!

Any game you play with your DD team even against the cpu counts towards stars.

I realize that but it feels like meaningless grinding though and meaningless grinding for 20-30 more hours is not appealing at all.

It wouldn't be if they had some more offline modes for DD! Why not offline events against other DD teams that are CPU controlled?

Or a March to October type of mode where I can play my DD team against other (CPU controlled) DD teams. Rewards can be based on difficulty, standings/outcome based as well as stat based.

I can't believe people are saying that hitting is fine. I guess by comparison to fielding and pitching it's a godsend but it's still not good. Have any of you ever replayed pitches you pull really foul? 9 out of 10 times when I replay it because it doesn't look right the replay is way different then the swing feedback on the screen. The Swing feedback says that I was early but the replay looks like the ball should have gone up the middle or the alleys, judging from the point of contact. It is way off!!! And don't even get me started on squaring up the ball and getting good/good or somehow hitting a ground ball of a pitch above the strikezone! I have never seen a MLB player hit a ground ball off of a 95+ mph fastball above the strike zone!

A lot of what happens in this so called "sim" doesn't happen in real life. That is why you have MLB players in the players league almost swearing on twitch!!!

Can I suggest that for Stage 4 Showdowns we are allowed to pick from our own pool of owned DD cards to compete? Instead of giving us new players at each challenge, there can be better xp and rewards (like DOTP packs!), etc maybe based on difficulty.

Just something to mix it up because as an offline player I am getting a bit bored of "Conquest" or "vs CPU" as my only options with my DD team!

I think that would be everyone's ideal situation. However, they will probably only use the ps5's power to make the card art more sparkly!

It wouldn't be so hard if the hitting engine wasn't absolute &^%&^$^!!! The only ones who remotely have a chance at beating this are the elite players who only play on Legend and HOF.

I have learned over the years not to spend money on them! These were all from free packs from grinding. I just think it's BS to put a gold in such a "Elite" pack! What's the point of that. If they are so rare, it should be a guaranteed Diamond.
