TBH, he was matching up with other friends for the ‘Welcome to the chip’ trophy. Otherwise online on ‘19 is dead.

Ah I see. I think it will be fixed soon. Not sure what it is tho 19 has always been my favorite and I still play it often, maybe because it was the first year of DD I fell in love with.

DD is just...MEH this year. For me, the fact that there's a tab labeled "Other Programs" is symbolic of how uncreative things have gotten. The very layout of the mode is stale and uninviting. The entire UI of the game looks like a bad Power Point presentation.

More substantively, long PXP grinds with players you'll never use again for a card that is underwhelming (to say the least) -- that's a big "no, thank you."

Honestly, Rizzo should have been one of the 90's and a pitcher could have been the Lightning card. Everyone used Buxton last year, but who's gonna use Rizzo if you already have Frank or Prince? Huge miss for SDS, and given the generally negative sentiments about DD this year this first Monthly Awards just confirms that SDS is in a huge slump.

Oh! Don't forget that in Rookie this year, pitchers for some reason throw about 75% fewer cookies. They also dot up, which is [censored] hilarious. And then there's a good chance that the wind will be blowing in. Grinding has become obnoxious.

DD is truly bad this year.

I truly love the grind in games but I need to be rewarded.I actually struggle to hit on rookie the last week or so and I used to crush All Star

I don't know why this year is like this but I don't like it.

Lack of packs has been number 1 for me to be honest.Last year TA gave us so much stubs,packs and this year nothing

I agree with most of your points I just don't "feel" it this year

I stopped playing Franchise 4 years ago when I started DD and I think it's kinda time to go back for this year

Something is missing from this years DD.Something is off I can just feel it

Not a rant post really just came to realization that this years DD is lacking a lot for me to continue playing.

I will be playing Franchise and Road to the Show from now on but DD is done for 22.

Content has been lacking in my view.

Team Affinity is gone,New featured program is weak and POTM is a joke.Not to mention the grind needed to get Rizzo.Just not fun.

PXP is the single worst addition this year for program progress I think.

Forcing me to use players I don't like to progress very very slowly towards the program is not ideal.

Hitting is bad both online and offline and diving plays are OP.Mini Seasons is a good idea but too shallow and kinda broken for some folks.

Collections are underwhelming really.I only like Gibson,Utley and Jansen.

I will continue playing the game but DD is an L this year from me.

Hopefully, once they resolve that (who knows when that will be) they will introduce card rewards each mini season

If they don’t, the mode seems hollow and little effort put into it. Had so much potential

What exactly is the purpose of this mode existing in this game?

Every other mode you can play whenever you want for rewards.

You can play USA conquest map over and over for rewards,Mini Seasons as well.BR,Events,RS all have a purpose.

Showdown is just here to be beaten once and it's done.You can replay it but no rewards are there except some stubs here and there maybe a 1000 if you go perfect in moments.

Why don't we have USA Showdown for example?

Where we can draft from a pool of every player in the game and then go up the ladder trying to beat different bosses(without those stupid moments) for rewards.

You can even pick the difficulty and that would determine your stub,pack,XP rewards and how many runs you start with.

Showdown really as of right now is just there for no reason.

Do you not know? i understand you are upset and justifiably so,but this isnt a widespread issue,many have completed it without issue many multiple times. which is probably why it is taking so long, i imagine it would be quite difficult to find let alone isolate the issue causing it.

This is good to hear. I wasn't sure I was going to get 22 right away now that I finally got a ps5, because mini seasons waa a bug drawl for me.

I beat mini seasons 4 times now and only ever had 1 win count as a loss and that was in early access.This on PS5

I also played on Series X no problem
