I agree, and since SDS does seem to listen to what its players want, I hope they see this. DD is at its base a card collecting mode. The live series collection has always been such a big part of the game. If you were no money spent, you would have to really grind to complete it. Along the way you would get the team rewards, the division rewards, league rewards, and mlb reward. I am very happy to see power creep back in the game this year as this allows building up your team slowly, and allows some of the lesser legends they have acquired shine such as Adam Dunn or Paul O’Neil. Also this provides an opportunity to make the live series collection more important as there are less elite cards out there. But this year the rewards for the live series collection are the worst we have ever seen. How many of the team collection rewards are going to make anyone’s teams even right now at the beginning of the season? They are all pretty useless, and on top of that they took away division rewards. It just kind of ruins what to me was one of the funnest parts of the game.

Can confirm that all those players are in the lefty booster pack from mini seasons.

I believe the double trouble mission is to ground into 3 double plays in the same game. I have only managed to ground into 2 in one game so far so not 100 percent yet. I can say that getting doubled up on fly balls or line drives does not work. Has to say gidp in the box score. That’s hard to do in a 3 inning game though.

I was wrong the tough mission is lose 5 games on rookie. Not sure of double trouble yet, think it may be hit into 3 double plays?

I think I figured out the that’s tough mission. Spoiler ahead so don’t read ahead if you don’t want it spoiled. That’s tough spears to be lose while your sp pitches the entire game.

Anyone figure out the two mystery missions double trouble and that’s tough yet? I have not had any luck. Double trouble I have had 1 out of 3 so far in a couple games but not more. It’s obviously something to do with doubles but I have had multiple doubles in a game and still only 1 out of 3. Unless maybe it’s doubles in one inning? Or doubles from lefty hitters? (Most my hitters are bronze righties) as far as that’s tough, it’s remained 0 out of 5 every game. I have tried strikeouts looking, throwing errors, and perfect/perfect outs. None of those add to the counter.

I see people are having plenty of problems with the game this year. I have been lucky I guess, haven’t had many issues, far fewer server issues than any year I have played. Only two problems I have had are mini seasons won’t work. It’s hard to even get a game to start in mini seasons and then wins count as losses. I can deal with that problem, just won’t play mini seasons until I hear it’s fixed. But every year in the show if you select your stadium when going into an online game, the next online game you go into will start the selector on that stadium, meaning if you wanted a consistent home stadium it was always there as your first choice. Now every single game you have to search through every stadium unless you want Houston, and please nobody pick Houston.

I bought the BenQ el2870u specifically for the show on PS5. This monitor has less than 10 ms of input lag making it one of the lowest input lag monitors around. Also the input lag stays the same running 4k resolution and even HDR. As stated it’s got 4k resolution and it has a 60 fps refresh rate. The 60 fps refresh rate is not great but it is the best that this years version of the show will do anyway. If you play games like call of duty that offer 120 fps refresh rates then this may not be the monitor for you. The monitor runs 4k at 60 hz with no problems, the 4k picture is great. The colors are good. I don’t use the HDR as it’s not great on this monitor, but it is available. I do use the picture setting of cinema hdr (have hdr turned off on my ps5) as to me it gives the best picture. Cost is about $300 so good value. Eventually when more and more monitors with hdmi 2.1 come out, hopefully they will get cheaper but for now, I believe this BenQ is as good as you can get for the show.

That is not true. I was playing and the servers were fine. Never had any issues. Then it randomly said my console was not eligible. It has nothing to do with the servers because they were working fine.

I’m not sure then, but I think it may still be a server issue. MTO is an offline mods so I don’t think you will notice server issues while playing it, but servers still have to work to get rewards. You say that servers were working fine when you were playing it but I bet they weren’t as servers have basically not been working good for any length of time, every so often you get an error. I’m pretty sure that’s the problem, I would avoid MTO until the servers stabilize and stay stable, not sure when that will be.

Could you have missed one territory, prob one that’s the same color as yours. You can tell if you get on one of your spots and it highlights all your spots, then you can see if you missed one territory somewhere. If it’s not that then I guess you have to do all missions. I completed mine yesterday with all missions done and got every reward.

It’s because you either closed the app while playing to avoid a loss too many times or more likely the unhandled server errors did that for you. Each unhandled server error gets counted as a rage quit.

Use pinpoint, if you get the hang of it you can consistently get perfect feed back and if you get a perfect the pitch goes pretty much exactly where you want it. I’m having no trouble painting the corners.

I don’t think we see over 60 FPS either was just hoping a dev could confirm it. I would really like to get a 4K monitor but there are very few that are 4k and more than 60hz, and yes I know without hdmi 2.1 that 4k will be capped at 60hz but with that monitor i believe it would run 120 hz at 1080p if so desired and a game supported 120 fps. I don’t remember model names but there is a 28 inch BenQ 4k monitor that is 4k but maxes at 60fps. This monitor has 8.7 ms input lag and nice picture but no ability to go above 60 fps on any resolution. If this game caps at 60 though, it seems this monitor would be a pretty good choice for this years game. It’s also affordable at $300.

But if this years game would do 120 fps at 1080p then I would prob either wait for a monitor with hdmi 2.1 or choose a different upgrade as I would imagine twice the frames per second would be pretty game changing. I was hoping the BenQ would work for this year and then maybe by the time the show goes to 120 fps (if it ever does) the hdmi 2.1 monitors will be out and maybe even enough of them out that the price goes down on them a bit.

We know the game will run at 4k 60 fps, but can we get confirmation that 60 FPS is the max that the game will run? I’m getting ready to buy a new monitor for the show on ps5 and would like to know if the game would do 120 FPS at 1080p. This will affect which monitor would be best value, and really don’t want to wait for the next gen feature premier as that might not leave enough time for the monitor to come in. I know the devs prob want to leave some features of next gen for the stream but can a dev please confirm the max FPS is 60?

I’m not sure, I watched one stream where he pulled a Rangers Choo one of one relic card, think it was from the topps museum, did not see the other one of ones. He isn’t trying to make money just collects angels and so doing it for fun, and so he can justify opening more packs to his wife.

He prob already is, just figured there would prob be a lot of people interested in this community.

I never even knew that was a thing but seems to be a lot of fun. I think I’ll prob appear on his streams sometimes as he is looking for some help.

Anyone on hear collect real cards, and any of you participate in live stream breaks? I never knew what that was until recently but I guess someone opens up packs on a live stream, and beforehand people have the option to purchase a team, then the cards the streamer opens go to whoever bought that team.

Anyway I know a guy who just started doing this and he’s just trying to gather a following right now so has been giving the cards away for free. He has pulled 3 one of one cards so far on his streams. I’m not sure if he is going to keep doing the freebies or not, as his first paid break is coming up in a couple of days for some topps museum collection.

My question is can I post the name of his group on here? Or not? Don’t want to break any rules but just thought many in this community might enjoy his breaks.
