You guys are insane if you think they are going to make a big collection with Randy Johnson, you all have lost your mind. Aside from the fact that he was the LS collection reward, he already has the best card (according to everyone I speak or listen to about it) out of any SP.

You didn’t, but a few other people after you alluded to it. Aside from Clemente, players like Griffey, Gehrig, and Mays never got a real 99. Especially Griffey’s card. Now, I could be wrong because this year has been strange; but, why would they make a second card of the best SP in the game?

his card attributes don’t really say he’s the best pitcher in the game compared to cards that are being released now. A lot of other players have multiple 99 cards so why not give another to the new legend that everyone wanted

I don’t mind if he gets another card. I am just telling you it is unlikely. Unlike Randy, Clemente does not start on most teams. You are correct that there is a chance, I would have said Clemente isn’t getting another card if you asked me the same thing before he did. Clemente, unlike Randy, is the first Hispanic to play in the MLB; plus, they have a designated day for Clemente. I don’t remember if they gave the card on his day or not. So, should the best pitching card in the game get a second card, I don’t see a reason; would I mind? Not at all.

All depends who wins actual POTM

Those would be my guesses but I think they may bypass Soto and Goldschmidt and give them boosted cards later.

You could really say the same for Tucker and O'Neill too. Realistically all but Gurriel are in line for a finest (or sig/awards for goldy) if they don't get POTM lightning. Like I said it all depends on who wins the actual awards. If gurriel wins AL POTM then Whoever wins NL is guaranteed the lightning. I don't think SDS would do a 3rd blue jays lightning card. Tucker vs Soto = Tucker. Tucker vs O'Neill is a toss up on who they would pick

Tucker was finest last season. I think Astros may get a geeked out Yordan.

Wasn’t there a couple relievers that were good enough to make a squad? No Billy Wagner, but I think I used someone. Now I’m not to sure. I like using different players at times anyway.
Either way I’m hoping I get Kershaw before 22; so I am pleased by the news.

Avery was not the Dbacks pick in the expansion draft....he never played for them.

He actually had the best 'stuff of the original Atlantas big 3 Smoltz, Glavine, Avery (Maddux came later). Injury and sharp decline made comeback as a solid reliever for a few years but was never the same as first 3 years

Perks only good for your ball player build. So in a sense yea they can be used in DD.
