Just not having fun the game just feels clunky and without a recent patch the defense just feels even worse somehow. When I'm hitting it feels like I'm on a lot of pitches and somehow terrible contact. Im getting way too mad here lately to the point I'm embarrassed of how much I yell at a TV which is just crazy.
I agree with that for sure I have two healthy little girls and a healthy wife so I'm very grateful. With everything being closed this is my only hobby at the moment and I play when the family is asleep. I wish I liked other video games but none keep my attention
Serious question I've only been playing for 2 years but the game right now is bad in all aspects and worse than I've ever seen it. It's a home run or out the hits that fall consistently in the outfield are errors or bloops. Pitching is just horrendous. Almost 80% of the hineruns i give up are missed spots that I had perfect release on. I feel like when I'm playing the game everything is predetermined. I don't want to quit playing but its to point it's just not fun. Maybe next patch will help but with so many things wrong I just don't know if I have any faith in SDS
Hopefully on this console there won't be as much lag when playing away opponents at major league parks. Im so over pitches looking 120mph on all star just bc of the lag.
Starting to think I must suck lol and here is why. If I see a guy who had a terrible record and lots of hitters that bat in the 200s I usually get smoked. If I play a guy with a good record and some batters in the 400s I usually shut him out and win easily it makes absolutely zero sense.
So tired of hanging pitching and hearing bs about the pitchers bb per 9. If I have a perfect release it should be perfect. I would rather the meter be quicker for pitchers with bad control than the game just randomly throw a pitch down the middle.

This game plays fantastic offline in an actual baseball game, these forums are beyond cancerous, I'm out.
Peace out if you like playing against a cpu that swings randomly at pitches that are half way there or that have been in the mit for 2 seconds have fun. To there is nothing competitive about it and its boring but to each is their own.
I own a vending machine company in kentucky
I average around 250 up and 250 down if that's not enough internet to keep running then I'll quit. My wife has been streaming TV shows everytime while I've gotten my disconnects without even a glitch in the living room. But but sds will say it's on my end
Haha its cool my bad for venting on here I'm not great at the game but not terrible I'm a WS player who just isn't happy where the game is at. Unfortunately with the things going on in the world this game is what I do to take my mind off of the things going on in the real world. I do spend money on this game and when invest in something i expect it to be decent and I feel the game was way way better at launch
just lost to a decent opponent but feels so scripted. Lost by 2 opponent had a 3 run inning that with 2 outs and the pitcher up to bat he gets a late okay bloop followed by a error from my right Fielder then guess what happens next a hanging curveball that I tried to throw in the dirt and magically with a good release it ended up in the middle of the zone for a moon shot. I like playing Rs but the timing window is just so off and the pitching is a joke. I've went back and played 19 few times over the last month it is so much smoother and hitting is a lot better.
is it worth it? this game is depressing just lost to a guy who had 4 infield hits off of check swings then the little douche decides to bunt dance afterwards. Sds I can't believe this is the best product you can put out.
With game play the way it is im not sure if its possible to tell if a player is good or bad.
I hear you its annoying I was up 8-2 then could just tell the game was fixing to go south and it did. After going up by 6 kluber walked 2 for me then a bloop single then a good okay grand slam followed by some more bs. Also after going up 8-2 mantle had 3 good good hits that resulted in routine plays in center and a good squared by trout with bases loaded for another routine out to centerfield. Ended up losing 10-9. My wife laughs bc I can call whats fixing to happen almost every time
I would like moments if it actually required skill instead of luck.
I'm trying so hard to not be negative but it sucks losing games you clearly out hit and pitched your opponent. This seems to happen a lot more on all star difficulty. I hope this is addressed in next years games. Just lost to a guy who was 14-16 with like 4 golds in his lineup he had 4 hits to my 9. He had zero 15s and I had 9. He scores his runs by pudge my catcher having two 3rd strikes go by him the a bloop download the bases everyone guess what happens next a late okay homerun. Yay
Trying to finish all the stats for missions to get jram and mondesi. Did not know i could do that offline in conquest. It was taking me forever trying to play rs and br with those players to get those missions completed. Literally could have played 4 3inning conquest games and finished almost all of it.
Quit playing ranked bc didnt want to risk some [censored] happening and taking a loss. Started 3-0 going for 4th win tied in the 3rd inning Sheffield hits a routine ball to left feild it hits my player in the head and then refused to pick the ball up and Sheffield proceeded to get a inside the park homerun yea this game is rough right now
For the love of God someone please [censored] explain why I'm getting 7 good okay contacts a game with the ball in the middle of the pci
