From what I have seen in the Community Market, there are thousands of active players at any one moment. It's not evidence, just an impression, but everything this year seems so much more active and busy than last year...

...although, sadly that increase in activity is also reflected in the absolute downpour of players who feel entitled to success, etc. To those people, I would say simply that perhaps you should stop playing. The aggravation with which you're dealing is negatively impacting your life, but not just your life, the enjoyment of others is tarnished by those who must wade through the seas of bile in the forums in order to reach delightful archipelagos of adult discussion.

Entitled to success? Players just want their input to matter to gain that success. When we do everything right and the game spits out a random outcome, yeah, there’s going to be backlash. Players are entitled to share their opinions on this dedicated site for the game, show me where it says only “enjoyable comments”. For you to complain about the right for other players to talk about the game in how they choose to do so really shows the kind of person you are.

Next two games, fielders can't field a ball, good releases go nowhere close to where I am putting them. Again, walking guys on good releases, swinging a fckn pool noodle. Opponent is getting weak, late hits. Think I had more walks than hits.

I’m going to play Uncharted 4 since it’s free in the store. Never played a game like that and I’m hoping it will get me away from these Ultimate Team games where the BS gets worse and worse every year in an attempt for them to retain players and influence them to spend money. That’s all these games have become.

Except most of people’s complaints up until last week were about hitting, that’s all I’ve defended, fielding needs work, pitching needs tweaks, hitting is fine if it stays like this, still a heck of a lot better than anything we’ve had the last couple years

Remember, he’s “playing a different game than the rest of us”. Apparently we are all just imagining things.

Maybe the fanboys should attack him like they do to the players on here who call this game out.

This is how it goes, plain and simple.

1 - Game companies want money.
2- They get money from players.
3- They want to retain those players for money making purposes.
4- They design their game to keep players interested.
5- Players spend money because their liking the success they are having in the game.

Unfortunately that’s how it goes these days. Isn’t it interesting that the consensus is that the majority of the BS you experience during games is at the levels where the majority of players play? Think about that for a second.

Are you being sarcastic? A 3 inning game tells almost nothing about who is more skilled. A 3 inning game is way more prone to randomness winning out.

Maybe some year we’ll get a game where randomness doesn’t decide who wins. The randomness is controlled by the game, so your statement implies scripted gameplay.

No, it does not imply scripted gameplay. It's just simple math.
Less time = more of a chance a blooper wins the game. 3 inning games will always be like that. Fewer innings = less time for skill to win out.

Has nothing to do with scripted gameplay at all.

When does skill start to be rewarded? After 3 innings? Anything before that is just randomness?

It was annoying getting tickets as rewards when you either had everything or would rather just have stubs.

Maybe they could make the TC players sellable so that would be a way to get stubs for your tickets.

No to the ticket counter. It was terrible. As far as the my career missions go I understand having some stats to grind for, but most of the time when its brought up the main point is the stub rewards, which weren’t as good as they seemed. You certainly got more stubs from daily missions in 18, inning programs, team affinity, moments etc. in 19 and 20 give far more stubs than the career missions did

It was terrible to earn tickets for free and therefore get free TC players?

But if your making more stubs by playing the game it balances out. Players cost more because stubs were being rewarded at a better rate than what we currently have.

Maybe next year. If you decide to bring back the TC, don’t do it like you did 18. Put some good cards in there.
