The game forces your pitches down the middle for the directional hitters and the simulation bs influences outcomes.

Yes, top players will always rise thanks to their ability to generate more chances for the RNG to go in their favor. For average players like myself against other average players, it’s up to who the game wants to favor. Who gets more errors, who the game hangs more pitches for, who the game favors with getting hits etc.

Get the simulation bs out of here...online should be human vs human only regardless of what the score is in a VIDEO GAME.

Worst part is when your opponent taunts like he’s good after getting benefited by the game. Exactly who SDS is making this game for every year.

The amount of posts all reporting the same BS happening has overwhelmed the defenders and they are out of excuses.

We now even have real MLB players disgusted by the gameplay, great idea by the way SDS.

I think we deserve an apology, after all, we were right and your excuses proved to be nothing but fake news.

Little Billy using directional is what happened to this game.

Give those directional hitters they’re own [censored] mode instead of screwing the rest of the fanbase with this garbage.

“We are continuing to monitor it”.....they are so out of touch with how the majority of the players feel.

I play on a Monitor and they have the timing window so messed up. Your not missing out on anything with how this game is currently playing.

Ever heard of a tax return check? Why not give us a percentage of the amount of taxes we paid like in a monthly/bi monthly return?

Also, to make life easier, if I have say 10 cards of a particular player...please make it possible to add a quantity to your buy/sell orders. It’s extremely tedious to list every single card one at a time.

It’s influencing outcomes, plain and simple. It’s how they keep players playing.

“In real life”....some of y’all need to realize your playing a VIDEO GAME....SDS needs to make a 100% simulated game for y’all, just fire it up and sit back and watch. This game is pretty close to that as is.

I buy this game to have FUN, like video games are supposed to be. If y’all want to make things harder then have 2 different online modes in DD.

1 - Arcade, or whatever you want to call it, where players like myself can smash hits and play for fun....who cares if the score is 15-13....this game is not real baseball.

2 - Competitive, make things as difficult as you want...plain and simple.

Making universal changes to different styles of players just doesn’t work. I might just play online rated at this point, seriously, I’m really not in the mood to have to adapt to patches throughout the year in DD.

Yes, we have directional players. No, our input should NOT be overridden to help them out. I’ve never had so many pitches go nowhere near I’m aiming with PERFECT RELEASE and guess what....it’s either a walk or a HR.

Forget about 18, this game is well on it’s way to being the worst ever with this obvious “help little Billy” garbage. Input means nothing when the game is more in control than you. It should not be such a headache for the better player to win, but yet it is.

Sorry man, you fell victim to the little Billy curse. Nothing you can do when the game wants the other guy to win.

This game is unplayable. I was 11-0 lost the last 3 on defensive errors, jammed hits from my opponents and good/ good good okay (which are squared up) stopping at the track...this isn’t based off skill at all. I wish I could get my money back at this point

I can tell you without a doubt, at my level 400-500 games are literally decided by the game itself. Errors, nerfed hits, rewarding garbage hits, GAME CONTROLLING PITCH LOCATION (Down the middle) etc. It’s not user input/skill....it’s who the game favors the most. I’m sure there’s an algorithm in place to determine that. It’s all in an attempt to keep players playing, that’s what this game has become. If they don’t tone this bs down, this will be the worst version of this game to date. They’re too scared to lose players if skill/input mattered and you had to try to win.

They’ll fix it? They changed this game intentionally after 3 days and players want to know why. This wasn’t a mishap that needs to be “fixed”, it’s shady gameplay by design to keep players active.

Put me down for pre patch hitting.

Also, quit making my pitches hang over the middle or just straight up walk the guy because I can’t hit my spots with PERFECT RELEASE.

Get rid of the game controlling momentum swings with errors, errors that are controlled by the game at no fault to myself.

Stop nerfing hits to keep the score where the game wants it.

Stop rewarding garbage hits that start a rally.

Make a non scripted game.

Quit catering to little Billy.

Also, what happened to pitching? The slight adjustment didn’t fix anything, the game is still grooving my pitches down the middle for my opponent to crush. At this point, it’s intentionally designed to be that way to help players hit.

What if, everyone started saying how much they LOVE this current gameplay.

Do you think that could get them to change it back to early access edition?

Impossible to believe a game company wouldn’t do everything they can to retain players. Nope, no way that would happen. Especially when there’s packs and stubs to buy within that game.

Played a game yesterday, dude had 1 run going into the later innings then BOOM, he starts hitting everything and has a 4 run inning...fielding went to hell to help out too. Ended up losing. Next game, I get a huge inning myself on bs hits and errors to get a 7-1 lead, ended up winning. No doubt in my mind this game helps influence outcomes especially at the lower levels. It’s how they keep players playing, anyone disputing this is lying because I guarantee you it’s happened to them before to.

Winning/losing means absolutely nothing to me with this trash happening every game.

Your right about the timing window, it’s completely different than a couple days ago, it’s horrible.

And let’s not forget about how the game is controlling your pitch location, user input means nothing right now.
