Why don't you have to use the PCI when bunting? It seems like this would help with the ease of bunting in this game and keep players from using it as a crutch.

No use rushing to lock in until you absolutely need to unless you are in desperate need of 30k in stubs. Wait until they announce the next inning to see if there's a player you want a faster path to, then lock them in. Otherwise you're locking in well over 100k in stubs for 30k.

Since it was supposed to be around the all-star game, I'd go with an all-star for each team.... But it'll probably be a future all-star card for the prospects already released.

I don't think people complain about bunting as a tactic. As the first reply says the issue is with the ease to get one down and the success rate of the bunt. Especially the squeeze play with cards with low bunting attributes. There should be way more pop outs with these cards.

I paid zero from my wallet. I sold a lot of my players. I picked Gallo, Dwight Smith, and Happ. I bought Giolito and Lux. Snell is A BEAST.

Yeah, if you play the moments and do the missions you can get him for under 40.

Explain pitching to me. Good release and hitting the aim point does not go where aimed. How is that user related? Same thing with hitting. PCI is centered on the ball and triggers a good/okay.

Pitching is utter trash. Aiming is completely pointless as the ball goes right down the middle or WAY outside the zone regardless of input. Game play overall is just luck of the 1s and 0s. Home run banner is still broken. Still! I mean come on.

I play because I love baseball and miss it. If the real stuff ever comes back I will not be turning this on ever again as I will be watching that.

San Diego Studios is so lucky there is nothing else to do or watch. I don't think I'm alone in saying quarantine is the only reason to still be playing this retched attempt at a baseball simulation. No 2021 for me. That is for sure.

With the freaking drag bunting with a guy on third. Impossible pitches get perfectly placed every single time. Give me a break with this nonsense.

I just don't get how things that have worked perfectly fine in years past no longer work.

I just had a catcher receive a throw at home and not tag the runner, who was still up the line running home. Catcher just gets the ball and steps towards the pitcher as if the play was over when he caught it.

Frustrating as all heck to play this game.

What is the pathway to this card? It's in the inventory, but not listed with Mantle, Biggio, ect.

How do you make a baseball game where a cleanly fielded ball to short is not an out every time?

Pitching is complete trash. The amount of pitches that go straight down the middle that are not input as such is insane. This game is noncompetitive. Just a total [censored] shoot, unless you have vastly better cards, then you win regardless of play.

Is there a reason relievers can't throw over 15 pitches in this event?

Yeah, the rays definitely pitch the same 3 or 4 starters every game without using bullpen arms.

Pitchers are unavailable all the time in the majors. And all of them also have to take 16 months off at some point to have Tommy John too.

If there is no ratings drop by doing this, SDS really screwed this one up. Starters out of the pen should lose control, velocity, and break as well as K/9. What was the reason for adding this in the game?

Same here. It's just the SDS Gods deciding you can't complete the mission. There is nothing you can do. When the CPU decides they're hitting a home run, they hit a home run. Just have to rain dance, or sacrifice a lamb, or buy some stubs.
