i uninstall, reinstalled and i cant get the get promoted to minors batting. even tho im way passed it. i guess i have to reinstall and try again and hope it pops this time. really dumb if you ask me. why make so many insanely easy trophies in the first place? and if youre going to, how about make sure they actually work.

I consider myself an avg to above avg player. Last year I could make it to Championship get close to world series but have never made it there. I enjoy collecting all the cards that become available. Last year I was able to get the cards by racking up the wins. Yes, to SDS' point, quit a game early if I knew I was going to lose, but full games are only valuable to content creators not most players. And I only have so much time to play, need to maximize my time if I want to get all the cards and play all the modes.
With this year's change, no way I get to world series. Not even by "just playing the games" 400 innings is basically 44 games. That means between 35-40 hours of gameplay per season. If I commit to that I won't have time to do BR, events and so on. I rather do the other modes and still have the competition aspect in events and BR.
SDS- anyway you can tweak this? Maybe a combination of XP and innings? Or getting to certain levels (division series, championship) "buys" you a number of progress requiring less innings or XP to reach WS? Otherwise, someone like myself just don't see the point of playing ranked when I'm trying to get as many cards as possible.
making Ws is about innings now and not wins? that makes absolutely no sense. so you could go 1-43 and make it to WS??
The extra reward(like wins were last year) is innings based. You still get a pack for making world series rating
ok ok, thats not so bad

they're working for me but weren't because when i started i put veteren as my difficulty default.
erase your profile, then start the game and it'll go back to the screen where it says choose your difficulty. Choose beginner and Yes / On for Dynamic difficulty. Then they will pop once you progress.
You mean you have to uninstall? I don’t know what erasing profile means?
No not install. Just delete the profile that's saved. I'm on xbox so if you're on ps it may work different.
i had to uninstall, well see if that works. i cant figure out how to delete a profile. I just started on xbox in january after 8+ years of PS. I only used playstation because of the show.
don't uninstall.
go into the manage games when you choose the show
then you'll see the huge install and a smaller install with your profile gamertag xb name.
delete only that profile save.
if you uninstall the entire thing and reinstall, i think it'll still keep that profile save. so your going to face the same problem.
you have to delete the profile save.
ya me too, i only bought ps4 to play the show.
thanks man, ill try it when i get home. its going to bug me all year if I dont 100% this game after putting 400+ hours into it lol

The achievements are awarded for moving up through the levels, when using Dynamic Difficulty.
Normally, you pick them up in order.
First comes Pitching/Bat Dabbler, when you're up to Amateur.
Next, you collect Minor Pitching/Batting Adjustments, when you move up from Amateur to Minors.
Last, you get Pitching/Batting Rook, when moving up from Minors to Rookie.I assume your problem is that you hit a home run and jumped from Beginner straight to Rookie, and only received the Batting Rook achievement. You need to get your dynamic rating back down to Beginner and move up slowly through the levels to collect the other two achievements. This is unlikely to happen when pitching, as you need a few innings of great pitching to move up a level.
I don't really know how to get your batting back down to Beginner. I assume it should happen automatically if you bat poorly, but I don't know how long it takes. These are the worst trophies ever. I’m starting at veteran almost at all star? How in the F am I suppose to get “promoted”
