It would nice if support could have one master thread about this, and pin it to the top until it gets resolved. I find myself jumping between 6 different threads to get updates on this.

@Victor_SDS_PSN Could we please have an update with a little detail as to what the expected resolution is, as well as a timeframe? We understand there are overall server issues that must be consuming priority there, but we in this thread all paid extra for preorder and have not been able to play and progress in the game since the main launch. Just want to know if there's any hope in holding on...

I am having the same issue and when I try to unlink for my ps5 account. It logs me out of the website and never unlinks. And I cannot find where to unlink within the game.
In game, go to my player icon in top left corner of the screen. Press x then R1 to get to my profile, unlink is in there
On my Xbox and PS5 there is no unlink option, before Monday on my PS5 there was an unlink option. I linked my PS5 on Friday 4/17. After linking Xbox and losing progress neither Xbox nor PS5 has an unlink option, only link.
When I log into theshow.com using my MLB login it shows an "unlink" button under both Xbox and PS5, when I click on those unlink buttons it asks me to again login with my MLB account, I dod and it says "log in sucessful" and returns me to the screen that shows Xbox and PS5 with "unlink" button. When I click on "unlink" it asks me to log in again, it's like a never ending cycle.
Have you tried unlinking your accounts and then checking in game? You’re running around in circles linking and unlinking on the website.
I think you can link in game, so unlink here then go in game and try linking your accounts.
Not going to say it’ll work but worth a shot.Tried all of this. Website won't allow us to unlink. It loops us to the login screen and then back to the dashboard.
In Game, the option to link appears. Link code entered on the website results in error; "Platforms match, so can not link them" There is no unlink button in the game.There is just no path from the Unlink button to the actual function that unlinks the accounts as it continuously takes us to the login screen.
On the website it says the my MLBTS is not connected.
I think someone at SDS has to manually fix our accounts... or restore the website's functionality to do it ourselves. -

When I login to my Show Online account, it shows the Xbox and PS buttons to unlink and I get the relogin loop when I try to do that. The strange thing is that my Show Online account shows as not connected, when that's what I am logged into. I am not sure I understand that at all. That's the account I need to show up. I can see all my progress is there I just need that to appear on the consoles. So frustrating.
I have the exact same issue. TS account "Not Connected" and goes to the login page if I try to unlink either XBox or PSN.
I did receive a response from support, however it is just the troubleshooting tips, which I did about a thousand times yesterday.

So is everyone still playing DD from the beginning or just waiting ?
I’m waiting, no point in grinding more DD if it’s all gonna be overwritten. I also don’t want CS to accidentally see progress and assign the wrong data. I’m a bit frustrated and also paranoid
And to make even more suckier, double xp weekend is starting. All good will is lost.
Oh I know, for me its 5 been days of no XP earned for 1st Inning (not sure when you lost stuff), and missing the Double XP weekend hurts even more. I truly regret linking my accounts, i was hoping to be able to play on both consoles. But it cost me everything (insert Thanos meme).
Same - I hope they realize that we haven't been able to play the game for 4 days as we wait hopelessly for someone to help us.
@Victor_SDS_PSN - you gave us an update nearly 24 hours ago that a fix was coming soon. Can we please have assurance that this is still being looked at, and what to expect in terms of a resolution timeframe?

Seems like another option would be to see their server time stamps and out data, stubs, collection books etc. Then have us erase/unlink/clear start over whatever you want to call it and have us start from scratch. Then award us back the items we've earned or in case of pre-order bonus, give them back.
I see it could be an issue deleting everyone's accounts and starting over as those that paid for the FULL BLOWN expensive version would feel cheatd that every gets those rewards too, I don't want anything I didn't pay for, but I'd rather not loose the things I did and also the progress I've made.
I bought the middle of the road pre-order PS5 version (if that matters).
On PS4 all my collection and items are showing up, currently it shows I have around 40,000 stubs from playing, would be nice to not loose those stubs along with the items in my collection book.
Are your stubs and collection showing in the marketplace through the website? I see stuff on my PS4, nothing on PS5 or XBOX and nothing on the website.
My Stubs and collection that I accumulated before Tuesday are showing on the website. Nothing on PS4 or PS5 or XBOX. I am logged in with my MLBTS account to see this.
On the Show Account Dashboard - under Link Accounts:
The Show - Connected (Current Session)
PSN - Not Connected
XBOX - Not ConnectedPrior to this morning (when I assume they attempted to fix or did a partial fix) the PSN and XBOX were connected and The Show account was Not Connected.

I thought they said in the Stream for the Stadium Creator that you could change things within a certain limit for them to be playable online. It seems as soon as I touch the outfield wall at all it makes it invalid. That's too bad and I hope they change it, because I'm trying to create legit parks

I know some have already tried this, but in case you're reading and haven't, try unlinking your account:
Option 1 via website:
Step 1 – Open a browser and go to theshow.com

Thank you for the acknowledgement @Victor_SDS_PSN . We are all in a frantic state waiting for the resolution to this, as we all took considerable time and effort to progress our gameplay over opening weekend and we've been at a standstill for two days. I appreciate the engineering team looking into this. I can provide screenshots or information if they need more, although I'm sure there is more than enough information in these threads to understand the situation.

Thanks for your message, lets walk through some information and troubleshooting steps regarding Linking/Unlinking your Xbox and PlayStation data with your The Show Online account. The way the TheShow.com account system works, is you can login individually to each account, PlayStation or Xbox, separately, alternatively, if you want to Link/Unlink these accounts to share progression, you have to use a The Show Online account to do so. To Link/Unlink and manage your The Show Online account, please make sure the account marked (Current Session) under Linked Accounts on your Dashboard is NOT Xbox or PlayStation.
You can only Unlink your Xbox and PlayStation accounts using your The Show Online account. To Link/Unlink accounts Make sure you are logged in under your The Show Online account labelled (Current Session) under Linked Accounts on your Dashboard.
Please note that Stubs you purchase are tied to their respective platform Xbox or PlayStation, however, earned Stubs are universal.You can also Link/Unlink your account to your The Show Online account in-game!
Once you have have signed into the game, you can Link up with a PSN or XBN account if you already have one. This also allows your account to sync with previous versions of MLB The Show that were available on PlayStation.
Select the Link Account option from the Main Menu
A URL and code will be displayed
Visit the URL on another device and enter the code
Enter or Create a The Show Online email and password - this will Link your XBN or PSN account to your The Show Online
On the Account Link confirmation screen there is an option to Link to an XBN or PSN account
Select this and sign in with the correct XBN or PSN credentials
There is no requirement to create an account while playing the game, only to sync with previous history or stats if the customer already has an existing The Show Online and/or XBN or PSN account
You can Unlink your account via the Ballplayer Hub in-game at any time

That's the same template response I received. Replied back with more information and my account details. Awaiting a reply, and hoping that they read the details of my issue this time.

I may have discovered a workaround that just let me get back in with my team and all the lost content. The issue here seems to be that it's moving our content off our console accounts and onto the MLBTS account without linking them, and then locking us out of trying to link them with these errors we're getting.
So what I did was try to see if I could make a new PSN account and link my MLBTS account, which has all of my content on it, with that new PSN account, and it worked. It won't link my MLBTS account with my old PSN account, but when I did it with the new one I made it restored everything I lost. I did then try to unlink it and relink it to my old PSN account, but that did not work with the same Platform Exclusivity error it gave me before. So this is a temporary thing until SDS gets this fixed, but hopefully this will work for some other folks as well and at least get us playing in the mean time. Hope this helps some people!
WARNING: I tried this, created a new PSN account and was able to link my MLBTS account to it. I previously was able to see my Stubs/Inventory/Progress from the early access on the website. Now it shows ZERO stubs. Even when I unlink, it did not revert to the previous state. Proceed with caution.

I have the same issue. Can not unlink my account as it just prompts me to log into my TheShow account over and over. Need help on this please SDS. Lost many hours of progress
