I'm so sick of people dashboarding, and don't understand how the programmers can't counter or disable it. It shouldn't be that hard. I was playing in the Moonshot Event. I was down 1-0 on my last at bat with a runner on with Francisco Linder up. This [censored] did something else I hate, which is bring in a brand new pitcher on a 2-strike count. I hit the first pitch for a game-winning HR, and this loser dashboards the game -- so Lindor's HR doesn't count, which affects advancing in about 3 different programs. It's such a stupid, petty thing for people to do and should be disabled.

If the announcer knows it's a home run and the crowd knows it's a home run and the cameras know it's a home run, then the game knows it's a home run and there's no reason it shouldn't count the [censored] statistics even when some sore loser idiot dashboards you and quits the game mid HR flight. This has gone on long enough. There's zero reason SDS can't fix this annoying problem after all this time. Enough. Just fix it.

Okay, so I know how odds work. When they say 50:1 odds of getting a diamond card in a show pack, I realize that every pack has those odds, but it does not necessarily mean that if you open 50 packs, you're guaranteed 1 Diamond Card.
HOWEVER... in the last 260 show packs I have opened I have received a grand total of 1 Diamond Card. And that was a middling 87 Felix Bautista. That is ridiculous. So I know I could make the ungrounded argument that 260 packs should generate, on average, 5 Diamond Cards, even though I know that's not legit. But one?! And not even an expensive one like Ohtani, Trout, Seager, Alvarez, Betts, et. al.? That's BS.
The fact that I'm not getting any expensive cards (and my Headliners packs have been equally dismal) and that there's not a lot of way to earn mega stubs is really frustrating and needs to be fixed. Especially since, as has been rightly pointed out in other posts, so many cards this year are only available in purchased packs, it makes it extremely hard to get player cards this year.
So the fact that "card pack luck" has been so atrocious is just adding insult to injury. SDS needs to give us better cards in packs, period.
I refuse to buy stubs, and in years past that's never been a problem. This year it is and, combined with terrible pack cards, conforms to the money grubbing narrative that other players have complained about.
Fix it, SDS,

Yeah, completely disagree. I think that animation/camera angle is one of the greatest things in the game. It always thrills me to see it, it's so [censored] gorgeous. I love it every time it happens. That said, I don't see anything wrong in having an ability to turn it off if it offends you so.

Excellent point, and I totally agree. Why are unproven rookies or players with one good week more highly rated than the best Live Series players. It's silly.

Couldn't agree more. I've have given your comment 10 hearts if I could. I LOVED the animation from last year. It was gorgeous and thrilling to see the low-angle hero shot of the batter as the ball arced into stands. Just stunning. Now it's ugly as hell. I HATE it. It seems you get two shots -- one that's an ugly closeup of the animated looking player and then a quick cut to the ball going into the stands (it's not just ugly, I actually find it unpleasant to look at) -- and another that's the shot of the batter standing at the plate watching the HR, where it's not even fully clear it's a HR. Sometimes it's a foul. I guess seeing the pitcher bury his head is the only real giveaway. Why? Why did they change something that was perfect only to replace it with something that, frankly, makes it look like a cheap video game from the 90s?!

What happens when an Ambidextrous Pitcher faces a Switch-Hitter? Who picks which side? Does the batter bat left, then pitcher becomes a RH? Or vice versa? Never encountered this before, wonder how it works. Anyone know?

I know this is considered a silly, minor improvement by most and doesn't really affect game play at all -- but I really love the new hair animations for dreadlocks and long hair. It really does add to the reality of the look of things. It's nothing I ever would have singled out as a needed improvement, but now that they've done it, I'm really impressed and appreciate that they did. It looks great.

There really should be a limit on the number of Switch-Hitters a team can use in their line-up. Some players just stack their line-up with only Switch-Hitters, and it's tedious and annoying. It's not remotely like real baseball -- no team has 9 Switch Hitters in their lineup. In Events, they vary what you can and cannot do with your lineups (i.e., no pitchers over 64 or no lineup over 96, et. al.), so what about this? It's just really frustrating to come across these teams repeatedly (especially in Events).

I really don't like the 6-0 concept. It's bad enough that the major rewards in Events and Battle Royale have become like that. It's really lame that this new Weekend challenge is following the same path, where you can't have access to the best rewards, and just get more packs that mostly give out Bronze players. I mean, congrats to the players who go undefeated and are perfect at this game. I'm not and resent having to be in order to get good rewards for things. I mean, it's fine if there are some special rewards granted to the best players, but this feels like it's too much for those of us who don't devote our lives to this game.
