FWIW I was able to complete the Nimmo part without issue. I did have the same problem with not being able to exit the mode though and needing to dashboard.

I do. Helps to make some stubs fairly quickly and its very easy.

Yeah, cause playing a baseball game against computers who cant even throw you a ball 4 as it's programed to avoid walks every day with the same repetitive nature is suuuuupppper exciting. Just like 2001 all over again before high speed internet. Riveting.

I play the game cause at its roots and core design it's amazing and baseball is amazing.
I am frustrated because the gameplay is [censored], removing earned content from your playerbase without a grace period or proper content to replace it is a moronic thing to do.

I don't even hit xp caps but my God this dev team is tone deaf and blind to gamers. Make a better game with more appropriate content instead of telling people to stop playing their game. Good Lord.....

Every creative direction taken is a direction into the trash can. The amount of defenses offered to this game is absolutely ridiculous. Never have I seen a more blind and gaslighting like treatment on behalf of a developer.

No serious gamers play this game. Only devoted baseball or sports fans so of course you'll never see improvements and focus on this games engine or mechanics. 25 probably won't even be next gen ready. SDS probably has like 1-2 game developers and the rest are just there to fill a payroll slot.

It's 2024 and were are using a sets and seasons method for a $70 deck building game that rotates out your cards for the exact same ones with a different number on it. Stupidity.

I'm not sure what's funnier...the amount of crying in this post or how much of it is just plain incorrect. Let's call it a tie I guess.

This ended up being a pretty fun program, and I usually hate moments. I liked that they were at least a little different than the normal moments, were still very easy, and you got to use your own team for some of them. Nice little quick 2 hour offline grind with a really good reward at the end and lots of XP. Overall pretty solid.

Freeze offs are still a thing because people still have poor internet connections.

The Grandal card is pretty solid. Always nice to have a switch hitter at catcher. He is so slow though, thats the one big downside. I do use the S1 Adley as a wild card but I played with the Grandal some and he isn't bad.

I played CFB a ton for the first 2-3 days and then came back to The Show for now. CFB is a fun game, but EA still pulled an EA and there are too many issues to get started with a Dynasty yet. I'll give it some time to see if they can fix the bugs before going back to it.

How are you not understanding that people who complain are only complaining, for the most part, about 24? People ARE having fun with older versions of the game or they simply stop playing. That's great if you're having fun and you're satisfied with an objectively worse version of the game that's ever been released. That's great! Have your fun! But that's not the case for a majority of the player base.
For me, I have issues buying a game expecting it to be the same or better than the previous version and it's clearly not. I've gone back to 23 and while it's not perfect if you put them side by side 23 is better than 24 in almost every aspect.
I'm not saying MLB The Show isn't fun. I'm saying MLB The Show 24 isn't fun.

That's cool that people are enjoying '23. I think '23 was a fun game to, and a lot of people complained about that version at the time as well, and I got the same kind of reactions that I described in my previous post when saying I had fun playing '23 last year to.

There are 57 days remaining for Season 2. I'm not sure if every season is the same length or not.

Alright they got my attention with that Royce Lewis card! Should be a fun one.
