Rose in value for TA exchange. Also Conquest Mother’s Day gave out tons of packs further diluting the market.

I wanted Sandberg for the longest but since there isnt that many good catchers maybe i should do Posey

I prefer Sandberg as the better player overall, though your team needs an upgrade at catcher. Sandberg is a legit 5 tool stud. On the other hand Posey is a great player in a position that is sorely lacking high end options. Choose as you see fit.

For The majority of Diamond Dynasty’s Existence Trout has been the king of live series. Always the highest rated card and performs the best. It’s gonna be a sad day in Mlb The Show 2025 when Mike has low 60’s -high 50’s speed.

It’s crazy to me thinking how Diamond Dynasty has changed the way I view baseball. Each game I check the box scores to see who is playing well that might be in line for an upgrade or who to sell before they get downgraded. I tend to find the most joy in identifying breakouts and pinpointing who’s gonna be the next superstar.
Anybody remember Aaron Judge started out as a common card the year he broke out? Or Mookie Betts and Xander Boegarts both turning diamond in the same year? Corey Seager and Bellinger exploding onto the scene as rookies. Lindor, Buehler, Kris Bryant, Freeman these superstar players rose to prominence in front of us. It’s really strange and cool at the same time.

I remember when Miggy Cabrera was a diamond! Seeing him fall slowly as his production crumbled. Heck I even remember Andrew Mcutchen as a diamond centerfielder. Haha it’s just really eye opening how much of an impact DD has had on me as a fan. P.S. Even Paul Goldy and Votto were diamond’s not too long ago haha.

Alomar is a fly ball machine. Take Brujan. Better speed and fielding.

Pretty much this. It will drop back down when all the people are done exchanging as necessary. Only thing that will bring it back up are new TA exchanges or the actual commencement of the season. The former for the same reasons as the current uptick and the latter due to investment opportunities.

Well said. Would be smart to invest in the 84 Ovr golds when stage 3 rolls around.

You can turn auto shift off. And adjust on a player by player basis. That’s what I do. Had trouble with late hits that result in opposite field doubles while auto shifted.

Yelich has been a below avg fielder his entire career, not terrible, but certainly below average. I haven't played with him yet this year so I can't speak on how bad he is defensively. I think Charlie Blackmon is far worse though

Actually, Christian Yelich played a gold glove centerfield not too long ago back in Miami. Albeit before he became the MVP player he is today. He’s been solid throughout his career. That’s just from the games I’ve seen him play. SDS is unfortunately keeping his fielding low to avoid him being a 90 or 91 ovr.

Al Central is soo easy. Can probably get to max team affinity points in 3 hours. If you’ve done the Royals Collection. Plus the Xp, Packs and Stubs.

People are hanging pitches because they don’t except much from lower ovr cards.

They always seem to pay off no matter how bad the inning is as long as you collect all 3 and get to 300 stars quick enough the following inning you can sell whatever boss goes for the highest and buy him back for a fraction of the price a couple weeks later same with any other additional content

Very true Sold Hanley for 75k. Now I’ve seen him as low as 30k. Really worth it if you can get 300 stars quickly.

I’d take Ohtani over Gallo everyday ! The fastball and splitter look soo similar coming out of the hands. Can really make people look foolish. Plus he can hit.

Something about that showdown is soo hard for me. Verlander is my worst enemy ! Congrats.

I believe with the new event coming up and future stars dropping this weekend, that the Upper Echelon of players will be focusing on completing affinities and grinding for Lux and Bohn. This is an ideal time to play if you’re looking to make it out of all- star difficulty or pushing for World Series. Just my thoughts.
