Glad you feel the same way! This was an issue last year too but nowhere near as bad as the 23 version. And I’ve benefited from this on the hitting side too at times as it’s like pitch speed slow down and pci placement doesn’t matter when you’re hitting with the momentum as you’re squaring it up regardless. Completely unrealistic and frustrating.

Auto Baserunning seems to be all screwed up.

I don’t know how many times I have had runners stand in their lead off second on a groundball to the right side, guys take their tag lead and not auto go back to the base on the catch, runners at first base not go to second on a groundball.

It’s cost me some games.

And before anyone chimes in that it’s me, enough guys on this board have played me to vouch for that not being the case.

( Oh, and contact swing needs to be nerfed again as on AS guys can foul off a zillion pitches in the dirt and a foot off the plate until RNG hangs a pitch and boom)….

I always skip these events. I like that it speeds the game up but it just adds more RNG. Sometimes you benefit, other times you go an inning pitching out of a 2-0 count every AB.

I think every count starts with at least a ball and strike, so 2-0 counts do not happen. I like it as a change of pace, but wouldn’t want it often.

But I hate that every event is All Star now.

I find nothing more toxic than the Jacka** that will take a lead over and over when you show you will pick off or step off.

I agree, this is by far my favorite mode. My 12 year old son and I play together and have had a blast ( undefeated in about 10 games. Been fun)….

Well, glad they are finally paying attention to this stuff in events and BR.

But doesn’t surprise me they can’t target the correct culprits.

Biggest issue is pinpoint pitching online. That should be priority number 1 for them

I did say…that I think the culprit is pitching. Something is off with this game when it comes to online play. You can keep every receipt for all I care. I made an observation and I’m bringing it to the forum.

This does seem to be true. There seems to be a serious issue with pinpoint in online play (and SDS apparently knows and is working on a fix….but head in the sand for the time being)…

Just before you enter a game when the game screen cokes up with the "Play Button" there is a manage roster button just below it that allows you to make changes

I saw this first game I played but now it just keeps taking me right in without that option. Sure I am doing something wrong but last thing I want to do is play 35 games with the same cards locked.
