What do you guys see happening to the prices of these recently added legends cards? Up, down, stay about the same? There are quite a few that I want but I don't want to spend real money to get them or sell Trout to get them. If the prices aren't going to climb I can just chill and grind out the coin.

If only I could have that same luck
I'm rooting for you. Please post back in this thread if you pull something awesome.

Same here a few nights ago. In fact, I had a fairly profitable 6 minutes overall...
Dang, you did very well. I got deGrom as a post-game card about a week ago. Sold him for 120k and change and bought some cards I wanted.

I couldn't believe it. Pretty certain I'm going to keep the card. Even better since it's Live Series and the MLB season is just about to get started.
Even if you don’t make collections, dude is a beast
For real, I've left him in the 3-spot all year.
And he's well rounded. Really good defense and an excellent arm by center fielder standards.

I got him about 5 years ago in a post game reward, early in the season too so that I got to use him all year. Was great.

Plus, he's just a cool player in real life. It's always more fun to use players in The Show that you like in real life.

Lol way to troll proof your post. Wish I could help you, but I thought that was funny.
One must troll proof these days! : )

I want to pick up Keiboom because it looks like a good card and also because he will be another Nats player on my team that will help me with the Nats affinity. Is his price likely to drop much in the near future? Should I hold off or buy now?

I sold deGrom for 121,399. I had 15,000 before the sale. So this helped.

Sell him. He hangs a lot of offspeed online for me. Plus his price won’t be this high for too much longer.
Thanks! I think that was what I wanted to hear. I have nothing against deGrom. Great pitcher, cool card, but he's going for a fortune and there are cards that are half as much that excite my 3 times more. I've been eyeing McCutchen and that card excites me. What do you think about that one relative to its price?

I lucked out and got him as a post game reward. I was very surprised to see him amongst the rest of the cards, pushed the button to make one player disappear at a time, and was shocked he was still there at the end. I play offline and like using Bret Saberhagen. I suspect deGrom is a beast online because of the speed on his fastballs but I don't think he'll be better than Bret offline. I'm wondering what I should do with him.

Thanks dragon. I remember Arenado being one of the guys that should have been great. I had him too. It was disappointing when a cool new card came out - maybe an old legend with great stats but the card was lame from the get-go because of its swing type. Nice to know that while maybe it's still a consideration, its importance is less extreme.

I haven't played DD in a few years. I remember that a few years ago that some players, even if they had great stats, weren't very good because they had a bad swing type. Or at least that's what everyone thought at the time. Is that the case this year? In addition to looking at a player's stats when I'm building my team do I need to dive in and learn about which swing types are good and which are bad, or is that less of a concern this year? Thanks.
