Fielding is a joke. It was improved when the game dropped. Just like last year. Then they go and tweak things and everything goes to [censored]. Shortstops run in on balls to their left. 3rd basemen too. Centerfielders with diamond fielding break the wrong way or dont move at the crack of the bat to ensure doubles. You get control of the wrong fielder on fly balls when it clearly should be the centerfielder ball. Or you get control of the centerfielder on a ball that should be the ss or 2nd baseman's play. but you hit dive because you know its within 3 feet of them only to see the centerfielder belly flop to give up a double. Content has been great this year minus a bunch of cards everyone wants being a million stubs a piece. Gameplay took a big dump this year.

Hell they used to walk him with the bases loaded.

Maybe that’s why they’re having a tech test? To sort out the issues NOW instead of after launch.

Well let's be honest here. They had issues last year during the test and the server issues stub issues and other [censored] plagued the game for weeks from launch. Why would anyone think history wont repeat itself?

Thats not entirely true anymore is it. With the release of finest cards that have active quirks. It it more advantageous to be the home team and depending on the pitcher you can shrink your opponents PCI based on quirks. Same goes for hitters. deGrom has Homebody. So does Mookie and Machado along with Perez.

It's all about getting paired with someone of your skill level (i.e rookie with rookie or veteran with veteran). If someone from SDS would like to reply to this they'll say the same thing. I've NEVER been paired with a legend skill level on veteran. I always get paired with veteran players.

I think you are confusing opponent skill level (human) versus technology. You can own a PS5 and suck because maybe your stick skills are terrible. You still have the advantage of a more advanced tech with the PS5. You just might not put it to good use. No one plays in MLB stadiums because the FPS is terrible. With a PS5 you can. So little Johnnie with his 1st generation ps4 is gonna sit thru 9 innings of crappy frame rate loss while the PS5 owner has a smooth game. This has nothing to do with internet lag either BTW its just a superior machine that can process information faster.

Since release of TA 4; I've been grinding out the Conquest and Team/Individual player stats to get points towards that Team's Finest player.

Well, after averaging an hour per map; I only finished 4 maps due to time constraints and server issues.

Well, instead of playing Conquest tonight; I just did anywhere from 3-6 exchanges for the other 26 teams and now have all 30 teams up to 84%.

It took me two hours to do that. So in what would've been two, maybe three Conquest maps; I got every teams Finest and 30 Finest Choice Packs.

Plus I still have enough left over to maybe do one more exchange per team, about 1.7M stubs, and possibly some more; if I sell off the Finest players that I won't use.

It's insane, TA4 has been a money pit for me. I'm back at 1 million stubs again (might join the chase for Donaldson when all is said and done) meanwhile i've just been clearing the teams i have left. Only the Mariners, Rangers and Astros arn't at 100 percent for me in the AL.

For the record. I think you meant cash cow. A money pit is a financial drain and endless cycle of loss.

Lately when I've played the event games it was me playing against prestige level 100 players with almost all of their lineup being prestiged. I went into a game and they hit 4 straight bombs off me. I thought they were well located, but nope.

well I did say not always a sweat feast. The nice thing is that event wins and loses mean nothing. especially if you are just going for prestige stats. You can always just quit those games with juiced teams. I played a guy yesterday that had 3 commons and was a level 24 bronze. I pitched 2 innings batted in the top of the 3rd for 1 batter and then quit as I'm sure he was getting raked by most people. Its late enough in the year that its just about working on things to keep yourself entertained.

Its to stop people from buying diamonds for under 5K. They will continue to place orders for 5K and then just quick sell them for 5K. Sounds like its working as your orders havent and probably wont fill until that person decides to leave the game. Wow you weren't kidding with the 1,000 orders they have you blocked real good.

nah not at all and you shouldn't be making assumptions - many people probably feel the same - i just think its a very poor update - lipstick on a pig - by all means you can buy the deluxe, do what you want - this game is a big joke these days - i'll still play once in a blue moon to blow off some steam but my point still stands

Honestly bud just block him already. Is he adding quality to your day....no then what's the point. He wont see your point you wont see his. The game feels basically the same as it did in 20. I skipped 21. Played about 10 games of this tech test.

Here are the good and bad parts.

• The game looks beautiful ps5 on a monitor is gorgeous.

• It's always great to build a team of your favorite players

• Hitting perfect perfect sounds great.

Bad parts

• 3 laggy games not being the home team still sucks.
• pitching is still and will always be random
• hitting can still be random.

Lofton's price is up right now because he is the best option for CF in the current event. He's price will come back down as once the event is finsihed.

I would tell you they are probably salty. The low bid buy orders were great until the moron streamer decided to post it as content to gain subs and they other streamers/youtubers followed suit and ruined it for all of us that were on it before it became internet knowledge.

Nothing like the first month of having the ball hit your infielder directly in the forehead and landing for a single on a pop up.

I didnt say it was perfect. But outfielder urgency and better outfield animations was more prevalent at launch.
