I may be in the minority but these events feel way too short. I understand that some max out the event with room to spare but I'm yet to unlock one of the event reward cards.

I felt like events were at their best a few years ago when wins awarded you tickets that you could exchange over the set of multiple events. I like this format better but the time/wins needed to unlock content better with previous years. It seems like over the last 4 or 5 years events have been more and more of a grind.

Not complaining or trying to start something toxic but just curious what everyone else thinks.

I've seen some mentions of Matt Stairs across the forums.

2 Cardinals time, 3 Blue Jays time and 12 Padre time.

Thats rough man. Keep your head up! I've found the later at night I play the stiffer the competition gets. It really put a damper on my win percentage this year when my daughter quit taking mid-afternoon naps. Goodbye opponents with silver XP and rosters with rookie Mantle, hello diamond and ruby XP with Prime Mantle.

They should really play “Never Gonna Give You Up” when his card is revealed.

Did someone say Shark Map? Just saying Shark Week starts August 9th...

With half the team on the IL he'll be bringing some friends along with him too.

I sent a friendly earlier today in the first inning. My opponent chose progressive field in the middle of the day and I literally could not see the ball in the top half of the zone and above.

Of course he declined (grrr) but he quit an inning or two later after playing me for a bit.

I know the glare from the sun is in the spirit of realism but there are plenty of "real" elements that have been glazed over in the spirit of a video game. They should really abandon this feature. The shadows on the field would still be okay but the blinding glare really needs to go.

I packed Dibble about a week ago from a standard Conquest pack and freaked out because this was my best pull ever playing The Show! My wife wasn't nearly as excited but she did her best feint excitement.

I've been using him in the event and he's been pretty much throwing BP. After reading about everyone drooling all over him I don't get it. I am usually a pretty good pitcher and can sometimes hang with some pretty skilled players based on my pitching. Hitting is another story but I feel like I am a pretty decent pitcher.

So what's up with Dibble? Is he all hype? Is it me?Is it something with this event? I'm usually matched against teams with a lot of games played so maybe everyone has just seen enough of him at this point. Should I keep trotting him out there or should I take the 90k and run?

I'd feel a lot better if I wasn't facing 2 innings of Kluber every game.
