Did you acquire him? Then it didn't cost you anything to acquire him.
What you DID acquire is however other many cards. (I hate to give away secrets, but guess what? You can sell those cards back and make back your investment. Maybe not all the way, but you wouldn't be down 2 million anymore.)

Why would you drop more stubs on packs attempting to get the card, than the actual cost of said card… then complain??
