I love how whatever price I pay for a card it immediately drops 20% in price as soon as I drive it off the lot.

One thing I have learned playing the CPU on All-Star for other player missions is you cannot under any circumstances blow a lead late, or you will end up in extra inning hell. Played the Orioles in the Ruth mission, Brooks Robinson pinch hit HR off a hanging changeup in the bottom of the 3rd. They robbed a Killebrew HR in the 7th. Finally won it in the 10th.

Maybe I should stop grinding and play my A-team in RS for a while.

I think the simplest most effective solution to make online gameplay more fair is for SDS to send an electric shock through the controller anytime something is done that upsets their opponent.

They do the multiplayer daily missions like that because of events and BR not just ranked. But you are right, some of those suck. I currently have 2 hits with a common, waiting it out until I can reset it.

Yeah, having to prestige players online changed my outlook toward events, because I will grind as much as I can there instead of RS.

An offline prestige grind would likely be more time-consuming but certainly less infuriating.

I have both and have used both pretty extensively online. Personally I like them both and they are very different pitchers. Wood has a great fastball, slurve, and cutter. I haven't noticed a ton of control issues on these pitches. The fastball and cutter have a good speed differential too which makes it a great pitch to keep people off balance and the slurve has nasty movement. He has a curve and change,, but I use them sparingly because his control really suffers.

If you can place Wood's change, especially on counts where they're thinking fastball, you can make people look silly.
