I would like to see an easier way to edit rosters from the main menu. I’d like to be able to set up the teams as they are IRL (with injuries) and then upload that roster into Franchise and start a season without having everything change. Personally, I would love a single season mode, but if they could just make Franchise work without having to jump through hoops to get accurate rosters in there and to stick, that would be great.

I also want to be able to have all the right players and not have to use CAPS with no accurate historical stats and no audio. Hate hearing numbers called instead of names and players with mlb experience being considered rookies. It’s as if the folks at SDS don’t really keep up with things in the offseason. For instance, guys like Sugano and Ian Anderson were projected to be on MLB rosters to start the season. They should have included them. Anderson’s been in the game before and they were able to have Sasaki and Kim for the Dodgers so there’s no real excuse other than poor quality control.

I would have loved to have a real Steinbrenner Field but I get that due to timing. But at the very least, fix your dadgum Stadium Editor. There are some great options from 24 but can’t get them in 25. And get the stupid bullpens off the field.

Finally, we need editable coaches and managers for realism sake. And fix the jacket bug! Third base coaches don’t wear jackets - especially in the summer! Smh

The game plays beautifully in my opinion. I am thrilled that BP logic is much better. But because of the things I listed above, I don’t feel like I am getting my money’s worth with the game.

Nope. Didn’t have Ian Anderson on the Angels or JC Herrera on the Yankees or Sugano on the O’s. Probably others missing as well. Not a true OD Roster. And I get it … they have to be in a game. Well, they all played and yet, here we are with them still not in the game.

Smh. Should’ve dropped last week when the season started. Between the bugs that haven’t been addressed, the Stadium Creator not working right, and now not having proper rosters to use until who know when … poor customer service if you ask me. Be better SDS!

I’m thinking they are going full CGI now. I kind of like that they are all the same, especially if a player changes teams. Always hated a few CGI portraits mixed in with the real ones.

Would be nice if SDS would fix these to the correct names of Michael Soroka and Joey Ortiz. Been wrong for two years now. I think commentary needs to be updated as well.

Games’s been out almost a week now (longer for those of us with early access). Opening Day is quickly approaching and the Stadium Creator is still not working properly, Boog is still calling the phantom base hit to right, and the third base coaches are all still cold and wearing their jackets all the time. Radio silence from SDS since launch. Are the issues being addressed, SDS? When will we see a patch? Some communication would be wonderful.

Real or fake: No base coach is wearing a jacket in Atlanta, Georgia, during baseball season. How did you not understand what was stated?

My point exactly. While I’d love to see the actual coach, I’m more bothered by the jacket in the summer. That’s what SDS needs to address.

Even after the update, he’s still wearing the jacket EVERY game. Please fix this. And make him the right guy while you’re at it. The 3rd Base Coach is Matt Tuiasosopo, not Dylan Whitney.

Anyone know how to get the “5” off of players on the roster screen? I was able to remove all of the “R’s” by removing players from the 40 man and adding to service time. However, I can’t figure out how to get rid of the 5’s. I’m pretty sure I was able to do it somehow last year but can’t remember how. Any help would be appreciated.

In every game, no matter what the weather conditions, the third base coach is wearing a jacket. The first base coach, however, is not. This is in exhibition play and needs to be fixed.

Would be nice if Orlando Arcia’s uniform number was corrected. It’s 11, not 5.

40 plus games into the season and Orlando Arcia’s jersey number is still wrong in the roster update. At least they don’t have Kelenic with Chipper’s retired #10 like they did in the launch roster. Smh

Isn’t anyone at SDS in charge of actually reviewing the rosters before they release them?

The Roster department at SDS is by far the worst and most undependable crew in this whole series. Here we are several weeks into the season and the Braves still don’t have a member of the Opening Day 40 man roster (Ian Anderson), their starting SS has the wrong number (5 instead of 11) and AJ Minter looks like a member of the Duck Dynasty clan (he has had a neatly trimmed beard for three years now). And that’s just the Braves. I’m sure there are numerous other issues with other teams as well. It really can’t be that difficult. The vault has better rosters than what’s put out by the so-called professionals. I’d appeal to the quality control team at SDS but it’s apparent that they don’t have one.

Orlando Arcia is number 11, not 5. He has never been number 5. Why is this so difficult to get right? Is there not any quality control in the roster department? Having correct rosters shouldn’t be this hard. And yes, I know it’s editable. But is it really up to the consumer to make the product accurate?

And while you’re at it, how bout fixing AJ Minter so he doesn’t look like a member of the Robertson family? He hasn’t had a Duck Dynasty beard in years.
